Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 GREAT NEWS! JUst got off the phone with the surgeon! When they decided they could not wait until Monday, they called a specialist in on her weekend off. She was able to remove the adhesions "strangling" the bowel without removing any of the bowel itself. Just the adhesions. No arthroscopic surgery, traditional large incision, but what the heck. They won't let me in to see her until Tuesday AM, due to COVID protocols in place at the Montfort. She's sedated right now and still full of tubes, but I should be able to talk to her tomorrow. She's pretty groggy with sedation, not happy with the tubes, thirsty and hot in the room.
