Should be in the hospital for 5-7 days. We'd sure appreciate you folks thinking of her. I'll update as I know something. Had to remove more colon,but were able to reattach. However from my understanding, they had to give her another ostomy for the small intestine called an "ileostomy". This will be in place for 8 months. From her perspective, this will be worse than where we were. Then more surgery to reverse that. Honestly not sure what to think at this point! It's sure been life changing for poor Ellie , me too, I guess. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. We'll get through this.
