things a changing

When the 2008 Buffoon came to office we had a severe shortage of ammo, guns, and reloading supplies. It lasted maybe 2 years. Eventually "stuff" came back. In my opinion it's much worse this time because an even bigger panic buying of guns has occurred. Something like 7,000,000 guns sold since March. And with that ammo.

I think the reloading supplies will be last to come back. Why? They are using all the components up to make ammo. Bigger demand and more profit.

And scalping is on high right now. I saw a box of 45 Colt going for $1.00/round!

Well, no need to buy that 460 or 500S&W mag if I can not buy the ammo or the components.   Now that I think about it all that I am reading indicates that it does apply to what we need to load cap and ball also!  I guess we can all go fishing to pass our spare time...

It may come down to making caps by hand, casting our own balls, and formulating powder.  If it comes down to that the posses are going to be real small, or we can go fishing.  :o

In other countries .............., are there generally many restrictions on c&b pistols and double barl shotguns?

Here in Australia C&B and SxS shotguns are no different to any other pistol or rifle so far as licence and permits required.

The only difference with C&B is that minimum barrel lengths don't apply.

God ole Cajun boy fishing guide was known to always bring in a limit of fish for his clients. Game warden heard gecsss using dynamite. Game warden went undercover, booked a trip. Sure unify, got to a likely spot and old Boudreaux reaches under his seat, light a stick and throws it over. KABOOM! Fish floating everywhere. The game warden pulls out his badge, Thelma Boudreaux he is under arrest for dynamiting fish. Boo calmly reaches down gets another stick, lights it, tosses it to the game warden and asks if he is there to talk.....or fish?

Finding lead to cast may become a problem.

That ain't bad. :o (Although it is.)

I recently saw 45 Colt cowboy ammo at a local gun store priced at $119.99 per box. What's that? $2.40 per round?

Don't think I will ever go back there again.

Soooooooooo glad I reload.

Humm...

The Single Action Fishing Society....or....The Single Action Whittling Society....or....The Single Action Western Movie Society....or...The Single Action Computer Video Gaming Society...and finally....The Single Action Thinking Society...

Of course, the leftist/liberal/socialists will go after all these things...fishing is dangerous (fishing hooks, and the danger of drowning), whittling is dangerous (because a knife is used), Westerns (they promote guns, and violence, and riding horses is against p.e.t.a.), Video games promote violence against imaginary zombies....and of course, Thinking could lead a person studying what our Founding Fathers had in mind for our nation, and also to questioning their true motives of controlling you from cradle to grave, and making the government your substitute parents.

It's just a matter of time.

Do we have the will, and the determination to fight this? Considering the recent events, I am inclined to doubt it.

Just wait until the libs start going after those dangerous fish hooks.

They already have. State of Warshington tells you in their phamplet (144 pages) of rules that fishing for some species you can only use a BARBLESS hook of a certain size.

The DFGs of the Left Coast get no money from me since 2016. They obviously have too many people on their payrolls so they keep making rules to justify their existence. Less money from me aids them in weeding out their numbers, as far as I am concerned.

WTH is a barbless hook? Does it come with a social worker who talks the fish into your net?

Certain size hook, gap between hook point and shank, and barbless. Fish is optional.
