Utah Bob #35998
In your opinion what was Tom Selleck's zenith western? The one where he was at his peak as a cowboy. The best story, best scenery, cast, etc. His best performance. Whataya think?
Charlie Plasters, SASS#60943
I am torn between Crossfire creek and Sabers River (except for the ending ). Monterey Walsh is a close runner up.

Rex M Rugers #6621
Quigley Down Under for my choice , with Monte Walsh as runner-up. Rex
DocWard
Since it is my favorite, I'll say Quigley Down Under. I will say the best cast of any western he was in had to be The Sacketts.

Chief Rick
Quigley is my favorite, but I believe Monty Walsh had a broader range of acting, sets and supporting cast.

Widder, SASS #59054
1. Monte Walsh It had a good amount of Cowboy, appropriate romance, cowboy attitudes (from being a jokester to suicide), friendships, fights, deaths, etc..... and a brief look at our history in the making. 2. Quigley ..........Widder

Clay Mosby
1. Quigley Down Under 2. Last stand at Saber River Crossfire Trail was a close 3rd, but I found Mark Harmon's acting absolutely atrocious and Virginia Madsen's wasn't much better. Big Sage, SASS #49891 Life
That's like asking me to choose a favorite from 5 premium single malts! All are great. I lean towards Crossfire Trail, Quigley & Monte Walsh. And all this time I thought Zenith was a TV...wonder will never cease. Watched some of the new series Magnum PI and just not the same without Tom Selleck, at least the new Magnum should have a mustache!
Tyrel Cody
The Sackets for me, BUT I think he needs to make a few more before he hits his Zenith.

Utah Bob #35998
My favorite to watch is Quigley. But I think I would go with Monte Walsh as the top of the heap. A sad note: If you Google images of Selleck you get about a zillion of him as Magnum, some Blue Bloods and red carpet pics and ALMOST NO COWBOY PICS! I tend to agree. Selleck could never be as worn out and grizzled as Marvin. But as far as remakes go, it was done very well.
J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE
The Sacketts Down Under Monte Walsh, on the Crossfire Trail to Sabre River where a Dingo ate Crazy Cora's Baby and Andrew Quigley never said he didn't know how to use one. Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
I’d say Quigley and Monte. i suppose I’d have my right to wear spurs revoked if I admitted that I never saw the others, didn’t even know they existed. ok, so I won’t admit it.
