Favorite candy bar

What’s yours?

Mine is a Fifth Avenue. And partly because of family memories- my great grandfather used to keep a jar full of Fifth Avenue minis.

Mounds, Almond Joy, and $100,000.00 Bar.

I also like Milky Way and Snickers when they’re frozen! Not the ice cream ones. The actual large candy bars, frozen!

I also freeze Oreos!!

Goo Goo Clusters, made in Nashville.  My mother in law gave me a box of them every Christmas and birthday!

Amond Joy and Reese's Cup as the tops, can't decide which is better.

After that comes Hersey's Bar w/almonds, Mounds, Mr. Goodbar, Krackle and Snickers.

I think I gained three pound by reading this thread.

Thanks.

Didn't think about it till this thread, I haven't had a candy bar in many years.  Boxed chocolates now and then, cookies pretty regularly and occasional ice-cream.  Odd, I used to have one now and then, somehow just stopped.

You didn’t stipulate what day of the week…:D

My very favorite used to be Snickers but I had to give up peanuts, so my other favorites are out as well. Pretty much any candy bar with peanuts was tops on my list. Now my favorites are all peanutless.

# 1 is Almond Joy - followed by

World’s Finest chelate bar with Almonds

Three Musketeers

Milky Way

I could go on but it would be ridiculous

I will list the candy bars that I don’t like:

There! All done.

Is that the one that was about 1.5 X 1.5 X .75 inches?  A big block of chocolate, nuts, and raisins?

Now the one that goes by that name has about the same overall size, but is 4 smaller conjoined cubes that are easy to break apart.

Terry's Dark Orange Chocolate.  Across the pond it comes in bars.  Other than that, Almond Joy.  G W Wade: please do not put a raisin in my chocolate.

York Peppermint patties with an explanation.  Back in the 1969-71 era all the candy bars went from a nickle to a dime except for the York Peppermint patty.  It stayed a nickle for a while after the general price increase and I got hooked.

Dark chocolate rocks.  And it slows down the young'uns.

Heath or Skor.

Honorable mention to 3 Musketeers, Snickers, Milky Way, and Abazabba (sp?).

A lot depends on my mood.

Oooooh. Hospital I used to work in had Skor bars in the vending machine. I'm pretty sure they had heroine or cocaine in them. I managed to get the monkey off my back when I left.

Anyone else ever freeze a Charleston chew and then slam it on a table to break it up into little chunks? About the only way you can eat them but they sure are good that way

One candy bar I used to love was the Milkshake bar. I haven’t seen one in years. I also love the Zero bar. Both bars used to be made by the same company. Milkshake bars disappeared from the market in the ‘80’s.
