Grumpy Old Man

Got the mowing all done. Neighbor came over and helped me. None of the idiot switches were unplugged, but one must have come loose. Fired it up and ground wire on engine was arcing. Couldn't get a wrench or socket on it. It was metric threaded bolt, no lock washer or nut. Had to drive it out and replace.

Nope!

Went out to mow yesterday and mower won't start. Nothing. Don't know what is wrong. Big Grump

An ad came on awhile back. Has to be a joke. Allied something or other. Black guy screaming to call them. Idiotic.

Gettin old really sucks. Glad you are doing better.

In 1971. I beat the draft. Enlisted for 2 years, only guarantee I wanted, was entry date. Draft notice arrived at home a week after entry.

I'm a life member of VFW, Life member of VVA, and member of American Legion. Joined VFW shortly after I got out. Our VFW welcomed VN veterans.

I am a member, but don't have a local chapter. I signed up at the local County Fair several years ago. I get a magazine bi-monthly. When I get the next issue, I will look for info.

Got notified this afternoon that we are adopting a 3 yr. old Australian Shepherd...Will try to post pics next week after we pick him up.

Got most of the snow moved today. 2 trips put with snowblower and 1 with Mule w/plow. Grandkids school was canceled today and tomorrow so far. Didn't have grands today as parents were off work also. Will have them tomorrow.

It took me over an hour to get ID with SS. They say 10-15 minutes.

My son, DIL, and grandson were here from Colorado for Thanksgiving. Had a great time with them. They had to leave Friday instead of Saturday to beat the weather. ThanksChristmas with all all the Grands was great.

Can't grump too much. Had a lot of fun shooting today. Even got lucky on a couple of stages. One stage, I thought I had 3 rifle misses, but had 2 hits right beside the hanger. On another stage, I was clean because of the same thing.

2 weeks ago, we bought a wi fi garage door opener. Took 1 week to find assembly instructions. Spent another week trying to get it connected. No dice. Returned it yesterday and went with a regular opener. Started putting it up yesterday and finished this afternoon. So much easier than the wi fi one.

Had my semi-annual eye checkup Fri. My suspicions were correct. I will be getting cataract surgery. 1st consult is Aug 26. Maybe I will finally be able to shoot better.

Finally got to my 1st shoot of the year. 1st stage was a total train wreck. I did end up with 3 clean stages.

My sister told me that my Grandma always left out one key ingredient, if she passed on a recipe.

Or concrete blocks!

I'm the odd one. Don't like whipped cream. I put butter on my punkin pie.
