  1. My 1st 2 guns were family hand me downs. A StevensFavorite in .22 and an 1892 Winchester pump in .22 short made in 1911.
  2. Can't grump too much. Had a lot of fun shooting today. Even got lucky on a couple of stages. One stage, I thought I had 3 rifle misses, but had 2 hits right beside the hanger. On another stage, I was clean because of the same thing.
  3. My nicotine is snuff. I've tried to quit several times. Did not like my attitude.
  4. 2 weeks ago, we bought a wi fi garage door opener. Took 1 week to find assembly instructions. Spent another week trying to get it connected. No dice. Returned it yesterday and went with a regular opener. Started putting it up yesterday and finished this afternoon. So much easier than the wi fi one.
  5. A legend in your own mind!!!!
  6. Another one, was Fresca. In Nam, pepsi or Coke was 2.40 a case. They couldn't get rid of Fresca at .10 a case.
  7. Had my semi-annual eye checkup Fri. My suspicions were correct. I will be getting cataract surgery. 1st consult is Aug 26. Maybe I will finally be able to shoot better.
  8. Finally got to my 1st shoot of the year. 1st stage was a total train wreck. I did end up with 3 clean stages.
  9. My sister told me that my Grandma always left out one key ingredient, if she passed on a recipe.
  10. Bend to shape Beat to fit Paint to suit
  11. Or concrete blocks!
  12. I'm the odd one. Don't like whipped cream. I put butter on my punkin pie.
  13. Kylie with our current rescue, Kady.
  14. Chance's, last check up by my Granddaughter, Kylie before he passed away last Oct.

  16. Welcome to the wire, JP.
  17. Congratulations, Noz.
  18. Prayers up for Charlie.
  19. When I was a yonker, our milk was delivered from the barn. Dad hauled milk for a few years, first in cans, then bulk. I do have an Isaly's insulated delivery box.
  20. Jim Stillwagon gave me a ride when I was at Ohio State U. Had Rufus Mays with him. Also took Army physical at the same time. Really nice guy. Met Billy Etbauer at a Cabela's in Nebraska. Great guy and got my picture took with him.
  21. Good luck, Dawg. And like they say, do the therapy.
  22. Never et lamb. Dad raised sheep and never had one butchered. One uncle swears by it. As a former meat cutter at Kroger, I never saw much meat for the price. Didn't sell well at our store.
