Your thoughts on all this stuff

Recommended Posts

Do y'all think all the stuff going on right now could lead to another all out civil war? The folks on one side are pretty vocal. Some resort to violence. Some resort to kissing someone else's feet and apologize for being a certain color. Some make a mockery of hallowed halls by parading around wearing scarves and taking a knee or comparing a wrongfully murdered man that held a gun to a pregnant womans belly to Jesus being crucified on the cross.

The folks on the other side remain mostly silent and stew. Some sit around wondering what happened. Some think they must be dreaming. Some are called a racist for having a different viewpoint. Many are reaching their wits end.

We have people in the government telling folks they can't gather in groups of more than 12....unless it is to protest. We can't go to church, but we can loot. Now some of them want to do away with police(think Hitler and Nazi Germany).

Civil War..... nope.

Some armed and/or unarmed confrontations.... yep.

Some factions on multiple sides making plans, just in case..... yep.

I don't think its just a 2 sided situation but rather 3 or 4 variables of groups that could eventually see some

group fighting.

And you'll always have some individuals (or a couple friends) who will 'pull the trigger' (pun) to make a statement

In other words, I think you could have someone initiate explosives during a riot or even a peaceful march.

It could be someone against the march or someone involved in the march, just trying to entice a bigger incident.

Right now, ya just want to stay vigilant and ready.   Always ensure your family is safe.

AND..... never fight fair.

Bad situation being taken advantage of by Bernie & the Socialists Party. Great way to get more commie control of this country. With the stupid generation now beginning to take control, watch out.

The schools have been taken over by ultra left wing people from kindergarten through college! Unless people start educating their kids in private schools or home schooling this will only get worse. I don't think we'll see an armed battle because the left are a bunch of cowards. ANTIFA on the other hand just maybe be something to worry about but I don't think they have a chance against law abiding gun owners and police and military who for the most part are on OUR side.

Thanks for letting me ramble and rant!

Keep your powdery dry and your Bible near.

It seems to be a good idea to start increasing my loading room inventory.  I cannot yet imagine what it may be like if Uncle Joe gets in.

At this point it’s probably best that I keep my own council and keep my thoughts to myself!!!

Perhaps, in a day or two, when I have boiled down some of this bovine excrement to my own satisfaction, and returned to a better frame of mind, I’ll offer a thought or seven on this current display of abject stupidity!!

In the meantime, the advice to increase activity in the reloading room seems most appropriate!! Not out of fear, but with thought toward being prepared for whatever the situation calls for!!

If he does, God forbid, we can only hope for a veto proof majority house and Senate takeover by the Republicans and that way nothing will get done!:o

What concerns me most is how MSM and social media are both pushing an addenda that is harmful to my country. Between the outright lies and deliberate omission of facts they are inciting all sides to violence as the solution.

Along those lines false flag actions by both sides to inflame and incite others to resort to violence as a solution.

I hope and pray that it doesn't come down to a civil war as I firmly believe that our republic cannot withstand another one.

Swamps stagnate. As a swamp may smell bad, the lack of movement is often better than having it move in any particular direction.

Everything we are experiencing is the inevitable outcome of the enactment of the XIX Amendment on 18 August 1920.  The ensuing century has been a steady slide to where we are now.  You cannot dilute the electorate by 100% and expect the Republic to remain as founded.

The roll of government has become caring for the weak and ensuring fairness.  Every little clump of perverts or weirdos can speak out and drive the national agenda.  The weakest and the most frieghtened rule the day.  "Mamma's here.  We won't let the big bad man hurt you.  We'll protect you from that nasty pandemic.  Our strength is our perversity.  Leave it all to Momma Government."

Couldn't have turned out any other way when the government became female.

Hi Tennessee Williams.  Since you asked...

I think the migrations out of the big cities will accelerate for a while.  Do you know anyone who wants to move to Chicago or Detroit or New York or LA or Minneapolis these days?   I expect investment capital going into those cities, and particularly into the neighborhoods where rioting and looting occurred, will decrease.  Smart businessmen are not going to want to invest where their businesses are at risk.   So jobs will be fewer, poverty will increase in those areas we've been seeing on TV.    Some politicians will try to gain power by spending tax dollars to improve conditions in those neighborhoods.  But the long term solution is for the residents in those neighborhoods to show that they have taken control of their own situations and reduce crime, and improve public safety without depending on government handouts.  Only then will investors and law-abiding citizens want to move into those areas.  That may take a couple of generations, if it happens at all.

Shootings, war?  Not for me.   I'm prepared to protect my home and family, but I'm not going to join any group that's looking for trouble.

Any of y'all read "out of the ashes" by Wiiliam Johnstone? He wrote some great westerns like first mountain man and the last gunfighter, but this is a series that hits the nail on the head. It was written before all the stuff going on but foretold most of it.

Define Civil War.  We will not see a repeat of the Civil War of 1861-1865.

What we are likely to see is a small "c" civil war with factions fighting each other and/or the government.  The takeover of a Seattle police station today and the surrounding six city blocks by what appears to be Anitfa and BLM with the support of at least one city councilor member is going to spread unless local and state leadership respond quickly and charge some of the leaders with serious felony charges.

Local gangs in I believe both Chicago and Minneapolis have started checkpoints and if someone does not live in that neighborhood they are not allowed to proceed.

It's going to be an interesting remainder of the year

Gather in whatever group you want.

Go to church.

The other side seems to have NO trouble finding legal defense funds and pro bono defense. Its high time we do too.

I odnt know - I think what is going on in Seattle is a great example of how free we are...

...except for the immediate self declaration of their first warlord being in charge.

so - ANTIFA immediately built a wall in their little Seattle paradise regardless of their walls-r-bad mantra - and they beat a guy for 'tagging'  as a way of exercising his free speech.

meet the new boss- same as the old boss......

......you just got fooled again seattle

Hooray for left coast democracy - AKA a politically correct term for "mob rules"

Read this then think about what is going on today. This was read into the record on the floor of  the House of Representatives by Congressman Herlong of Florida.

Or just do a  search for "1963 communist plan for america" and read some of the links that come up.

Several Christopher Columbus statues were destroyed or defaced in the last couple of days (I guess nobody outside MLK and Harriet Tubman deserves a statue any longer), and a couple were tagged with hammers and sickles painted on them. There is no doubt in my mind that homegrown communists are behind a lot of these protests, possibly aided by foreign countries.

I'm just waiting for people to start sacking Mt Vernon, Monticello and the Hermitage or demanding that we blow up the faces of Washington and Jefferson on Mt Rushmore.

Well ... as you know ...  the Ninth Amendment (to the Constitution) allows states the right to reasonably regulate the safety, health and welfare of their citizens.

You are being "regulated" ...

Well, opinions are like armpits.  Most everyone has at least two.

I don't look for a "civil" war, like the one we had in 1861-1865.  I do see there is lots of conflict with how one group looks at things, versus how another group looks at things.  Each side has to sit down, and discuss this in as much of a cordial fashion as possible, and listen to one another.  Oprah (I call her Opry, as in Grand Ole) had a two evening t.v. show on it, discussing "what do we do now", or something to that effect.  I did not notice any other people groups on the program, to get a larger view and take on things.  But, I think we need to talk this out, and vent some things, with all sides of the aisle participating.

We all want pretty much the same things.  We all want a peaceful, productive, life, that counts for something.

Everyone wants to be respected, wants their say, wants to be listened to, wants to go as far as their skills and intelligence can take them. We want our children/grandchildren to succeed, have meaningful, important, lives, and make a positive difference, in some way.

But we need to come together, and not do things that cause division, and cause polarization...like, for instance, disrespecting our flag.

If you are perfect, in all ways...then, and only then, do you have the right to disrespect our flag, and what it stands for.

With love, we can make it as good as imperfect humanity can make it.

It will never be perfect.  Why?  Do the math.

When you add up that: we are imperfect beings, plus we live in an imperfect world, plus we have free will, then that is why things are like they are.

Listen...it is easier to do nothing, or to do the wrong thing, than it is to do the right thing.  That is our nature.  We see that in our children, who have to be taught to share, and to play together, and be nice.  It is difficult to do the right thing, because, one - it goes against our imperfect nature, and two - doing the right thing takes EFFORT, and it is not as easy as doing nothing, or doing the wrong thing!

Remember...there is only ONE race....the HUMAN race.

My Two Bits.

W.K.

The way it's looking to me, come January 2021, the White House, Senate, and House of Representatives will all be controlled by the Democrats.

"Reasonably" being the key word. It proves you are NOT doing something for the good of the people by deciding what is important enough to allow people to gather. Just because some jack leg thinks protesting is important enough to ignore a no gathering directive and going to church is not, does NOT make him right. If people don't need to gather, they dont need to gather for anything. Once you pick one thing over another to deem more important, you nullify ALL of your reasoning for the directive. I've about had it, myself.
