Why do I have to be racist?

Recommended Posts

I had a run in with some protesters the other day. They wanted me to turn around and drive the other way. I didn't want to, so I didn't. They were protesting against cops, I was told. After I expended quite a few expletives, they said if there are 1000 cops and 2 of them are bad, that makes 1000 bad cops. So, I said if there are 1000 purple guys and 2 are bad does that make 1000 bad purple guys? They sure didn't like that logic. Apparently it is only racism if you are not them. Whoever them is. I watched a fellow shooter get attacked on his fb page with shouts of racism for no reason other than supporting the police. Personally, I get tired of it. A person has only so much patience. I was brought up  to take a man as a man, until you find out he is an azzhole. As I told him, you can't fart without being called a racist.

I have NO problem with protesters and they can believe and espouse anything they want!

What I have a problem with is protesters blocking intersections and thoroughfares!! You can say whatever you like and I’m proud to support that right, but you have no right to prevent me from going where I want and or need to go!! Restraining or preventing a person from legally traveling to and from any public or commercial destination is against the law and should be prosecuted aggressively and in every instance!!  It borders on kidnapping and definitely rates as menacing and if they touch you, becomes assault!!

You want to protest??  Go to a park or parking lot!!  Get a permit and have a parade!!  Stand on the steps of the courthouse or congress or the capital!! You may not steal, damage, or destroy that which doesn’t belong to you!! You may not harm, restrain, detain, or otherwise molest any other citizen!! At the point that you do ANY of these things, you are no longer a protester!  You ARE, however, A CRIMINAL!!!

When the first foreign object flys, the first punch is thrown, or the first protester violates ANY law, the protest is over and those who don’t disburse GO TO JAIL!!

The First Amendment is sacrosanct, but it IS NOT a tool to protect vandals, looters, arsonists, and people who would commit mayhem from prosecution and penalties!!

It is high time that government starts playing the role it is supposed to play and protecting the general population!!

I'm starting a 30 day FB suspension today. Apparently, "You're an a**hole racist murderer" is OK, but "d**do-sucking twit" is offensive.  I was being PM'd death threats last night by a couple people I don't even know!

There is a video on FB taken by a black women who confronted two,  what looked to me like skinny Asian ninja chicks dressed in black spandex with black mask and big, dark sunglasses.   The ninja chicks were spray painting BLM racial graffiti on a Starbucks storefront.  The black woman was livid and ran them off.   The black woman wanted people to know that "they' didn't do the defacing.

MMA light heavy weight champ Jon Jones stopped 2 skinny white kids from tagging graffiti on a store front in Albuquerque Saturday night.

Odd how quickly they gave up the spray paint cans to a 200+ pound angry black man willing to stand up to them.

The term 'racist' has been tossed around and used so frequently that it has no meaning anymore.

As with so many others issues that have politics involved, the issue isn't about facts, but emotion and there is no point in arguing facts with a person who is driven by emotion.

There ae two classes of people in BMC's world.

One  class will accept all people for what the are.

The other class will not tolerate divergent thought or action.

I seek the first group, I abhor  the second.

It's the deflecting accusation of choice in some crowds.

The charge is serious enough that it can't be ignored and, if you are defending yourself from such a serious accusation, then you aren't attacking their stance on another issue.

As you noted, the problem is that the impact is cheapened with overuse.

Have you noted the overuse of the Nazi and Fascist accusations as well?

Of course, we are dealing with Leftists here and their definitions of 'Nazi' and 'Fascist' don't match up with the one that everybody else uses.

We got called racist yesterday.  My oldest works at shoneys and gets a bonus if she sells enough deserts so 5 of us loaded up and went to shoneys.

The table beside us had a white couple and the table beside them a black couple.   After we left they complained to my daughter without knowing she was my daughter that we were racist.  It seems that since the TV was over the white couples head my wife kept looking over there.   It was behind me so I didn't notice.   My wife also looked at the rolls and mentioned how they looked good.  Other than that I don't know we loojed their way.

They told my daughter we were racist and stared at them because they were talking to the black couple beside them.  They even said to her that had we looked at them one more time they were going to do something about it.   My daughter said she just grinned and walked off.  Her coworkers rolled with laughter .

People honestly wonder why we cannot have a meaningful discussion about racism in this country.  The answer, as is being demonstrated in the streets right now, is that it’s because if anyone says anything that’s not 100% the most extreme PC rhetoric they are branded with the “R” word and deemed unworthy of having an opinion.  Some people don’t really want to solve problems, they just want the power to silence others. Here is your result.

I was accused of being a racist by a group of Hispanic and Black women at the senior center when I still lived in California.  This was just before Obama was nominated.  They ran a Sikh gentleman out because they decided that because he wore a turban that he was Muslim terrorist.  (And these people condemn others for profiling).  Anyway, after three or four weeks, and after my next door neighbor...a black lady...came to my defense and threatened to "slap the black off a couple of you" I stood up and declared to everyone in earshot that if was going to be accused of being a racist I saw no benefit in me not becoming one in fact.  One woman asked me what I thought I was going to do about it.  I said I might consider stopping by her house that night and burning a cross in her yard.

She called the police and I had to do some fancy dancing to keep from being arrested.  It helps to have friends who wear badges and other friends who will be willing to stand up for you.

I have no doubt that I would be arrested if I tried that same thing today.

For the most part, these accusations are projections, whatever they label you or accuse you of is about them. Really. They are the racists, misogynists, etc. I refuse to accept a label or motivation from anyone. You can't legislate intelligence and you can't run away from your own stupidity. Some of these folks need new race cards and have them laminated because their current one is clearly worn out.

Sadly, people’s perception of others reflects their perceptions of themselves.  In spite of how they feel, they acquiesce to political correctness to portray themselves in a more positive light.

I figure almost EVERYONE has an opinion that they would not choose to share with anyone but their closest friends.

I guess that if you keep it to yourself, you’re probably doing the right thing!!  Doing the right thing, for whatever reason, is the right thing to do.

Yep.  I'm a racist because I'm white.  I'm a misogynist because I'm male.  I'm a homophobe because I'm straight.  I'm intolerant because I'm a conservative Christian (not the same as a Christian conservative).  I'm violent and  glorify murder because I'm a gun owner.

I think that covers it.

Many years ago, during some required "diversity" training, the activist instructor started out with "If you are a Police Officer you are a racist.  If you are a white Police Officer you are a dangerous racist."  I don't recall what else he said, I'd stopped listening.  I was used to being insulted regularly on the job.  I saw no need to listen while being insulted under the guise of "training".  What an incredible waste of time.

Oh, hell, I left out a lot more.  Physical condition, sexual preferences (or lack thereof),  type of pets you think are best, urban or rural dweller, veterans, vanilla of chocolate ice cream lovers,.....I could go on.

I was not in the same occupation that you are or were in but when we had training we usually got to do course critiques. For me I would have said that was a waste of time for the reasons you gave. Most of our training was done by contracted people and I think their pay was dependent on good evaluations.

Actually, we used to fill out two evaluations.  The first was for the presenting organization.  Usually the Police Academy.  The second was for our PD.  Neither, from me, was positive.  I think most of the people in the class blasted it.  At least the guys I knew that were there.  I believe the evaluation I turned in to my PD included the phrase "worst training I have ever been forced to attend".

My chief showed my Lt. the evaluation and asked him "What's up with Angus?"  My Lt. told him if he didn't want to know my opinion he shouldn't have asked for it.

“TheM” are the antifa groups and socialists.  They rail against racists, which sounds wonderful, until you realize that they paint everyone who does not go by their book as a racist.  This is how they trick people into allegiance.

they will try to equate antifa as the same as anti-fascist, but it isn’t.  Antifa is a decentralized, but organized group of trouble-makers who ironically incorporate Fascist tactics to stir trouble at otherwise-peaceful protests.
