What is the best starting line you've heard?

Just trying to come up with some unique starting lines either from movies or other western themes.

We just had a shoot and one of the lines was: "Aim low they are riding Shetland Ponies." of course Crazy Mingo was there and took offense for us using the short thing and of course he got abused with the variations of the starting line...lol. He's a good sport.

You the one that shot our friend?

Shoot one round in the dummy, then shoot the other targets. We've used that line a few times.

The other line I love is, "Why XXX you looked like someone just walked over your grave"

If no line is required I like to start the stage with "Say when"

There are a bunch of them from "Crossfire Trail"

Take it easy, you'll get a more harmonious outcome

I never had to fight my way into a saloon before

That wasn't shooting, that was killing

It's a wonder you lived much past seven

Any message you get from me will be crystal clear

Can he kill me? Nobody ever has.

Not my finest hour

Well, maybe I should show you

You can leave peacefully or in chains, your choice.

At yesterday's match, when the TO stuck the timer in my ear I told him I had forgotten the starting line.

"There is no line," he said.

So I yelled out, "There is no line!"

It worked, I got the beep.

It has lost much of its popularity over the years BUT it was so common at one time that I doubt it will ever be overtaken! "Well, are you going to draw them pistols or whistle Dixie?" Movie line, unknown.

"Someone's gonna have to go back and get a s**tload of dimes"

Blazing Saddles has many classics, none pass current PC standards.

I lost all control on,

"Hey man, where da ______ ________"

I'll stay with,

That is hilarious...

I wrote one for the Saloon stage pointing at a mirror saying "I don't like the way you look!" Got lots of laughs as you might imagine.

Had a Magnificent 7 themed annual a couple years ago. Remember the scene where Yul Brenner and Steve McQueen were sitting on the stagecoach and SMcQ shook the shotgun shells listening for lead shot? That was simply the indication of ready- shaking SG shells holding them close to the ear. Johnny Morris came up with that one. Pretty cool.
