Korupt Karl Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Just trying to come up with some unique starting lines either from movies or other western themes. We just had a shoot and one of the lines was: "Aim low they are riding Shetland Ponies." of course Crazy Mingo was there and took offense for us using the short thing and of course he got abused with the variations of the starting line...lol. He's a good sport. KK HEARD A GREAT LINE LATELY?
Maddog Maxwell SASS#31604 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I'm using this one in an upcoming match, 'I gave him 2 warning shots, in his head.'
Rye Miles #13621 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 You the one that shot our friend? Shoot one round in the dummy, then shoot the other targets. We've used that line a few times. The other line I love is, "Why XXX you looked like someone just walked over your grave" If no line is required I like to start the stage with "Say when"
Mack Hacker, #60477 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 There are a bunch of them from "Crossfire Trail" Take it easy, you'll get a more harmonious outcome I never had to fight my way into a saloon before That wasn't shooting, that was killing It's a wonder you lived much past seven Any message you get from me will be crystal clear Can he kill me? Nobody ever has. Not my finest hour Well, maybe I should show you You can leave peacefully or in chains, your choice.

J-BAR #18287 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 At yesterday's match, when the TO stuck the timer in my ear I told him I had forgotten the starting line. "There is no line," he said. So I yelled out, "There is no line!" It worked, I got the beep.
Allie Mo, SASS No. 25217 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 At The Outlaws' match yesterday, the starting line on all stages except one was "ready." The one that was different is the one we always have at the jail and it is, "it is tough being an outlaw in times like these."
Mustang Gregg Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 :FlagAm: Same thing as Rye said, "Say when." I always use it when I forget the line. Mustang
Tex Jones, SASS 2263 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 "We deal in lead, friend". Vin, Magnificent Seven.

Slowhand Bob, 24229 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 It has lost much of its popularity over the years BUT it was so common at one time that I doubt it will ever be overtaken! "Well, are you going to draw them pistols or whistle Dixie?" Movie line, unknown.

Two Spurs Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 "Do you know who I am?!" Stand by....beep! That is hilarious... I wrote one for the Saloon stage pointing at a mirror saying "I don't like the way you look!" Got lots of laughs as you might imagine. Had a Magnificent 7 themed annual a couple years ago. Remember the scene where Yul Brenner and Steve McQueen were sitting on the stagecoach and SMcQ shook the shotgun shells listening for lead shot? That was simply the indication of ready- shaking SG shells holding them close to the ear. Johnny Morris came up with that one. Pretty cool.
Cheyenne Culpepper 32827 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Git er dun!! DRAW!!! Pick it up, put it in, die like a man!
