Second time I possied with him.  Great guy.  Congrats Dave.

Yep..... me too, maybe 3 times.

Anyhow, he sure knows how to smoke it up.

We started shooting at 10:00 on the first morning with temps slightly cool to moderate.

After ole SD finished up with them Godzilla Flame Thrower loads, temps went up a

few degrees all over the county.     Hey, I witnessed it meowndangself.

Congrats SD

Space got real tight at our table during the banquet. Dave’s head swelled along with the 5 unnamed Tennessee State champs sitting with us. Hint: Widder, Tennessee Williams, Slater, Fast Harley and Last Kiss.  I was the window dressing at the table.

Congratulations Dave. Well deserved and well earned.

To include 'The Rest of the Story',  Dave managed to run a splinter (a nice long splinter) up under his

finger nail on the first day.............. yes, it was his trigger finger.

A trip to the local medical office and a little digging and carving on his finger, put him

back in business to finish up the match in style.

He didn't let that mishap detour him from his destine glory.

EDIT:   Tequilla Shooter..... we missed you!

Thanks for all the kind words. This was my 4th year at TN State and will definitely not be my last.

Thank you Wartrace Regulators for putting on an outstanding match.

Definitely not something I recommend doing right before the match.

A trip to the ER to have it removed after the match kept me from attending the Friday night festivities.

On the up side, a nice looking Dr. at the local ER was able to dig it out without removing my fingernail.
