Whats your 2016 Cowboy Action new years resolutions? I will start off with mine.

1. Shoot some different categories more often at monthly matches, primarily gunfighter and duelist.

2. Shoot my S&W Schofields in a few matches this year.

3. Do a better job of loading ammo this winter and early spring so I don't have to during the summer.

4. Go to a state match I have never been to before (already have it picked out but not telling LOL)

5. Enjoy my cabin at Paradise Pass even more than I did last year!

Let's hear what your are.

Cool Thread...

1. Make time to practice. (Haven't tried it yet but rumor has it, it helps!

2. Go to EOT. (1st Time Ever!)

3. Make enough ammo between now and May to get me through the rest of the year because I am moving and it will be a long ugly move! (Lived at the same place for 28 years!)

Happy New Year!

1. Try to shoot a couple new out of state matches (at the expense of other matches I usually attend)

(maybe make the same unmentioned state match that Deuce plans to attend)

2. Use my retirement and $$$ wisely.

Shoot my ROAs more at local matches (didn't at all in 2015)

Shoot more clays so I can perform better in side matches

Repair an old prop I have in storage at one range and deliver it for use in the state match

Shoot more out-of-state matches this year. Bordertown and California State of hopefuls

Practice more long range with my buffalo rifle for better performance in side matches

Heal from the back surgery enough to be competitive at wr. Make the top 16 list instead of coming close, like I have been. Continue to help other shooters improve their game as i've been helped by others. Encourage my wife to practice more. That's about it......I tend to be more successful if I pick on just one or two goals at a time. Lol!

1. Go to EOT for the first time

2. Go to the SE Regional for the first time

3. Go to at least 5 State Matches

4. Finish prepping Lethal Lizzie for CAS (she's 8)

5. Figure out how I'm going to support 4 SASS shooters every week.

6. Buy a Dillon 650 (see 5.)

If you figure out number 5 pass it along. My daughter turns 8 in March, not interested in shooting yet.

Look at the Hornady LnL as well.

Go to at least one out of state match. Probably Oregon State and/or Nevada. Maybe UT.

Learn to load ammo so I will have something to shoot.

P-p-practice with the 1911.

Why not come to Ohio State Shoot in June?? Love to see you and yours! :)

To continue with this wonderful sport and enjoy those that play it. Continue working on my health and conditioning. Spend more time with my son. Work to continue support for cancer research. Shoot more major matches. Spend more time at the club shooting and working on stages and props.

Life is short....we don't have any promises in this world and we need to make every moment count.....

Happy new year all....KK

Deuce -

I am hoping you chose Colorado State July 1-4!

For me this year,

Have more fun, try to focus on the fun and the rest will come. When I focus on the rest, it kills the fun and nothing works for me.

Put in some of the dreaded P word especially with shotgun which is my weakest link.

Have a couple of video projects in my head, but I'm not gonna say what.
