Pat Riot Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 This is my 2016 Kawasaki Versys 650. I really love this bike. It’s sporty, fast and nimble. I pretty much ride it every day, rain or shine. May is typically a wonderful month to ride bikes. Let’s see ‘em, folks.
bgavin Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 My last two Harleys... '78 and '08' I still have the 2008, and will have for the foreseeable future.
Injun Ryder, SASS #36201L Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 If I can find a picture of my '91 FXR, I will add it.
Bitterroot Jake, SASS #9532 Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 Down to one ride. Dont get saddle for two or more.
Jailhouse Jim, SASS #13104 Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 1970 Honda SL100 I've owned since '72.
Utah Bob #35998 Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 I was just about to trade it in for a beautiful midnight blue Sportster in 76 when my wife got pregnant. Sold it. Used the sale money plus the money I had saved for the Harley for baby related stuff. Things change.

Chief Rick Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 R1200GSA - most comfortable motorcycle I've owned. Traded a H-D Electra Glide Ultra Classic in for this.
DocWard Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 Some nice motorcycles! I've never owned one, and at this point in my life, I can say with a bit of confidence I don't expect to. I rode some as a younger man, but never owned my own. I love the looks of a nice motorcycle though, and would love to own something along the lines of a dual sport, that I can go around town with, and then pack up and go camping. Mrs. Doc isn't fond of the idea, and I prefer to keep her happy.
Three Foot Johnson Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 Same as last year... and the year before that... and the year before that... 2000 Vulcan Oddly enough, now that I'm retired, it doesn't get much use, so it'll be on Craigslist soon.

I loved my Vulcan Classic LT. I miss riding it. After my crash I vowed never again to have a bike without antilock brakes and a feet forward riding position, but I do miss that ride.
Eyesa Horg Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 Top pic is our old ' 86 limited edition #4 of 450, second pic is our current '02 and the third pic is our campers that we tow behind. We sold the small camper on the right and sold the '86 to our best buddy in Maine. Still get ride once in a while!! Couldn't figure out how to put text between the pix!
Wrangler Bob Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 1986 Kawasaki Concours. Photo shopped from a charity ride. Stopped riding when my wife passed.

Blackwater 53393 Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 I've had this old thing since 1988!! Several rebuilds 'cause for a long time it was my ONLY transportation and over 300,000 total miles. It is part of the family. I've turned EVERY nut and bolt on it and touched every piece of it at one time or another, usually changing it to suit me. The frame and heads and the timing cover, rods, and crank wheels are original. The parts range in age from 79 years of age to less than six months! It began life as a 1979 Lowrider and joined the family when it had 12,000 miles on it. Schoolmarm made me buy it. In fact she negotiated the deal.
bgavin Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 Nice... a springer with dual rotors up front. The last ticket I got (white lining), the CHP cop chased me almost 20 miles in heavy traffic. The first thing he did was grab my front brake lever, and was astounded that it worked. I said, "I like to be able to stop." He reduced my ticket from white lining (reckless in those days) to 75 in a 65. I thanked him.
Hillbilly Drifter Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 sold this 2015 Road King after retiring and moving away from my riding buddies. It was an awesome ride. Took it from Va to Arkansas twice. Good times.
Pat Riot Posted May 8, 2019 Author Posted May 8, 2019 This is my other bike. I bought it to get used to riding the street again. I bought it because it was light and cheap. The little bike is so much fun I cannot part with it. This summer I am taking it down to the frame and doing some work to it. The engine is strong and only has 10,000 miles on it. This bike is like a Swiss Army knife. It’s good for a lot of things but it doesn’t do anything really well...except for make me smile. 1997 Yamaha Virago 535

Shotgun Clay Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 Kawasaki EX500 as my first bike. Suzuki Bandit 600 Kawasaki Concours Ducati Monster as my last bike, before it decided to make me it's last rider.
John Hangman Ruth Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 My 2002 Fatboy that identifies as a Heritage. I don't get to ride as much as I used to, but I can't bring myself to sell it.
Msgtarmor Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 It's my mid life crisis bike!! 1975 Super Glide with a 'few' modifications built by me. But when I want to get serious and cross state lines and such, it's the 05 Road King that gets saddled up. jim

Pat Riot Posted May 9, 2019 Author Posted May 9, 2019 Man, you folks have some very nice motorcycles.
Msgtarmor Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Thanks, Pat! Here's another (1985 Low Rider) in my garage that belonged to my military brother who passed back in '07. I did the burnout in the bar he managed during his memorial! I'm really not a Harley snob. I like em all, but prefer to ride these!! Better suited to my short legs!! jim
