Pre qualifier to this post:

1) Don't care what you use it for.

2)Don't care about value

3)Don't care about if it has special historical value to you.

4) Can not sell it.

5) Don't care about function or realiability

My question to the Wire is:

Just want your vote from the four listed below, which one would you pick or catches your attention.the most?

A) Original sized (5in barrel), 'blued;,,,,, Colt 1911

,B) Original (older) 'blued' Smith&Wesson 'N-Frame' that's caliber starts with a '4'? Barrel Length is your choice

C) Colt SAA Revolver (barrel length, your choice)... Bued as well

D) Colt double action revolver, blued, your choice of barrel length... (Python, Diamondback, and such)

If you just must, what is E)

Keep it fun.

Wow, tough one. If I have to choose, I guess I would go with the S&W N frame, however the Colt Python is one of the prettiest guns I ever did see. I love all four choices by the way.

Among the four choices, I would have to say the Colt SAA would very narrowly edge out the 1911. Except on the days when my mood told me the 1911 would narrowly edge out the SAA.

If there were an 'E' for me, it would be the Browning P-35 Hi-Power, which would be in the mix with the other two.

As Blastmaster said, all winners.

I've owned or own a SAA Clone (Uberti), a S&W Mountain Gun, .45 Colt, N-Frame, and a Colt Python, .357 Magnum.

The prettiest? That's like asking which of your daughters is the prettiest!

In no particular order.

Colt SSA

Colt 1911

Colt Python

Colt Lightning rifle

Hell, even an AR looks good if it has a "Rampant" pony on the lower.
