Actors that you really dislike

Whether they’re really good actors or true jerks in real life that got lucky in an acting career, are there any actors that if you encountered them somewhere your first reaction to them would be truly negative?

 

A couple of my picks for most despised characters are:

 

Ronny Cox. He always plays a coniving obnoxious d-bag. When he appears in a show my first wish is that his character is killed in a truly heinous manner.

 

Robert Davi - He always plays a scoundrel with little morals or ethics.

They are on my list also, although I never considered Goldberg to be an actress. My list is way too long to remember or, if I could remember all of them, list here.

 

It would be far easier to list the few actors/actresses that I like.

Jeremy is now up on "rape" charges, decades after the alleged occurrence.
It isn't going to trial.. apparently the evidence won't stand up in court, and Jeremy is of diminished mental capacity now.

As was mentioned, list of who I like would be shorter. One reason me and wife haven't gone to a theatre in decades nor watch movie of actors that preach gun control yet think its okay to use them to make a fortune in movies.

We enjoy watching the classics more so and could count on one hand, maybe less of TV shows we watch.

Mostly because they strike me as lousy human beings as well as being arrogant and condescending: Tom Cruise, Ben Affleck, Robert De Niro, Sean Penn.

 

I don't doubt there are more, but none spring too mind.

 

I do find, that in general, English, New Zealand and Australian actors are less likely to be arrogant and self entitled.

As most are anti-me the list would be very long.  And if it was an actor I liked I suppose more would be dead than alive.  It really bothers me that because they 'can act' they supposedly have superior knowledge of the world and use their acting fame as a pulpit to tell us peons how to think.

 

In general they need to understand what they are...actors.  Maybe some Chris Evert or Michael Jordan training is in order.

 

And Alec is a real winner, all his brilliance and we know about his lack of control with guns and family....

Interesting. In searching pro gun Hollywood types I found an interesting website that lists a bunch of organizations that are anti-2A. It also list all actors that have donated to Anti-Gun causes. The list is huge.

By the way, I did start this thread just on the basis of actors/actresses that I just do not like. Funny that actors that we all do not like are also anti-gun.

I'm glad I'm not a hypocrite like those d@mn actors!

 

I suppose you could call all actors hypocrites if you confuse their actual persons with the characters they play. So if an actor does very well at certain roles, you can't like his movies because you find his personal views bad. And vice versa.

 

This has always seemed a little strange to me.
