Warden Callaway Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 I'm sure some will fill a tingle in their pants over this crap..
Blackwater 53393 Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 DO NOT ask how ridiculous or stupid someone can be!! Many will take it as a personal challenge!!
Texas Jack Black Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 Just in case the gov. bans semi AR guns.
Badlands Bob #61228 Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 There's just something about that belt fed upper receiver that is calling my name.

Subdeacon Joe Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 If it floats your boat, why not? Does it have a Vegemite dispenser?
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 If you made a lever action revolver some folks would buy it and would ask if it’s SASS legal. And PWB would point out the specific rules forbidding it.

Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 I need something like that about as much as I need a case of mumps.

Pat Riot Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 That lever action definitely is odd. I wonder if they named it “Herring” because it gives off a visual foul aroma. Hey! It’s only 1300 bucks! WOW!!! https://fightlite.com/rifles/herring-lever-action Actually it’s not all that bad but that price is a bit much.

That's not what you said. And you can get 5 or 10 round AR magazines.
Pat Riot Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 More “tactical” lever guns. I handled a Henry X model recently. I want one in .45 Colt. https://www.americanrifleman.org/content/8-tactical-lever-action-rifles-available-in-2023/ Then we have the S&W 1854 lever gun that has nothing 1854 about it. https://www.rifleshootermag.com/editorial/smith-wesson-model-1854-lever-action/490235

Pat Riot Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 I watched that entire FightLite video. Definitely some interesting guns there, but I will probably never buy one. I did like the wood and laminate stocked long guns. That lever action “pistol” is odd. That’s like taking a 4 wheel drive truck then slamming it down to the ground then putting little tiny wheels on it. Weird.
Chantry Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 It's an AR type platform that is legal in states where the actual semi-auto AR-15 is banned, like here in CT. There are more accessories for the AR platform than any other rifle I can think of, some are useful accessories and some are stupid. And an AR 15 lever action is a lot quicker to fire than a bolt action. But that doesn't mean I want one.

Dirty Dan Dawkins Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 The AR platform has never ever scratched my itch, but this is ingenious and looks fun. Yay America

Yay America I have owned a few AR-15s and I just couldn’t get into them. I think it was mostly because I just don’t really care for the .223/5.56 cartridge and I really didn’t want to play around with other cartridges in the AR-15 realm. I did however liked the concept of the AR-10 in .308. But every one I checked out was too darn heavy. Then Ruger came out with the SFAR. I bought one and I really like it. I like to take it and my Garand to the range.

Red Gauntlet , SASS 60619 Posted February 12, 2024 Posted February 12, 2024 A tactical lever-action is a contradiction in terms. Or an oxymoron maybe.
