The house was quiet this morning as I was left alone.  Might venture out in a bit, after the doorbuster crowd goes home.  Those grandkids will need more batteries for Christmas.

I'm headed to one gun store. That's all. Just one. I promise. ;)

Nope.  Went out at 2230 last night to to look at the early Christmas decorations people had put up, and then to a fast charger to charge the car so we wouldn't have to go out today.

Might go out at about 2100 to look at lights again.

I'm going to to the mall at around 1:00, it'll be busy but I should be able to get a 2 mile walk in, that's twice around the mall. I have to get a battery for a friend's watch that I'm not messing with. After that a couple of gun shops, just two really!!:D

Hit a couple of on-line sales.  Don't want to go near the city.

I am going to the range and I may stop at my favorite gun store. They had “Black Friday All Week”. I tried popping in to check out a sale they had on a Savior canvas pistol case but each time it was packed. If they are packed today I won’t even bother pulling into the lot.

I was going to go to Costco later and my wife said “You want to go to Costco on Black Friday? Are you serious?”

I actually forgot it was Black Friday. No Costco today. :D

My Christmas shopping is done already and I never left the house.

The weather is is rainy and cold and I have to work today.

And any "deals" out there isn't worth the aggravation of dealing with all those people anyway.  Bah Humbug!

I picked up a box of Aquila .45 for $35.00 and a box of 9mm Blazer Brass for $27.95,

I managed to get 2 miles of a walk in the mall without bumping in to too many people!

Oh HELL no!  Not leaving this house until Monday.

Went to town for some specialty bolts and a drill (size W) and a 7/16” SAE tap.  I also picked up a hardened 7/16” X 2” bolt for a crankshaft job I’m doing.

Not much going on in the industrial section of town.

Stayed home this morning and earned some serious brownie points. In my stand now. I think I'll just give everyone a couple hundred bucks and a nice handwritten card this year.

No need to spend too much on me. Don't worry about the card, the cash will be fine. :D

Bought some 22 ammo and some spring kits on line.  Bought a tire inflator to keep in the camper, also on line.

Napped most of the morning while the wife put the tree up.

Going out for burgers and groceries about 6 pm.

no , im not going out in this era of lawlessness unless needed and it was not needed , the crime rate here is hitting all time high according to my police and sheriff friends , car thefts , car jackings [im going to shoot the car jacker that tries] along with assaults and store  thefts [that one might also end in a confrontation i dont want to be involved with] much of it resulting in the defund/abolish the police ,

i recall when the CCW became "shall issue" here and the retoric was lawless 'old west' expectations - that never happened , but this liberal/socialist move is causing the 'old west crime era reoccurrence' , we used to lynch horse theifs - maybe we should lynch car thief's for a bit ?

what is the liberal take on their theory ? the rehabilitation/second chance aint working is it ?

Just took a small doe in to the butcher for Kaya. She had the backstrap cut into four pieces for grilling at the cabin. Can't wait!

Going out tomorrow to cut a Fraser fir for our Christmas tree. The one we had last year was still green and pretty in June! We left it out for the birds.  Thinking about planting a couple hundred a year up north and selling them when I retire.

I went to one store.  They were out of the bulk sale batteries, Craftsman Philips #3 screwdrivers, deerskin thinsulate gloves.  I left with 2 domestic made punch sets.  There were only 6 other customers in the store.  Not a bad Friday afternoon.

Took the new pup pheasant hunting this morning, then had to go to town and get some miscellaneous auto parts and a new dog collar.  Very few people in the stores that I went to.

Went to the grocery this morning for some stuff that we ran out of yesterday.  I was dreading the crowds and waits.

There was practically no one there.  I was in and out with eggs, juices, veggies, egg nog, four chicken breasts and a bunch more stuff in just 20 minutes.  Total time from leaving my garage to getting back home was almost exactly a half hour.
