What are you paying for shot lately?

Could I look it up? Sure, but this is more fun.

Varies around $40

We think you should start claiming and sellin';)

Every once in a while I have a bunch fall in my lap (figuratively).

I saw 2 bags of 50# for $100 and didn't know if that was the going rate.

Sounded high.

That's about the going rate for new chilled shot with shipping, I bought 200lbs just prior to the craziness.  I've not found reclaimed shot for sale that was cheap enough to make it worthwhile.

Somebody posted on Facebook earlier about a sale they were having on reclaimed. 5 bags for $150 plus shipping. Damned if I can find it now, it was one of the CAS related groups.

I think our $40 only gets 25# of shot...so nope, that doesn't sound high for this area.

TRR bought 2000 lbs of reclaimed shot and when the dust had settled and freight paid we charged $33 per bag which gave a bit of profit to the club

Since I was lead donkey on this I hope I'm dead if/when we do it again

15.00/25 lb bag. But I am cheap and buy most of mine from old guys getting out of the hobby/scrap lead sellers. I only have 12 bags now, might have to look for some more.

$40 / 25 lb in central NC.

I shot mixed reclaimed for years, but now load only #6: largest shot that we can use, has better use for social purposes than smaller shot.

I've got a shot dropper I need to fire back up in the spring. Not the prettiest but it knocks down targets.
