That's a thought. I presume if they made it for the semi rimmed 32acp, that the 32S&W would work too. I would like it with a plow handle.

Shouldn't cost any more that the 22LR version

New Vaquero

Special finish: real patterned color case hardened frames triggers and hammers with fire blue

Lowered hammers

Full size custom-fitted "antique ivory"-colored grips with no exterior logo (logo-marked on inside).

Special serial numbers, starting with "CASxxxxx" or something unique

Available in BOTH true 5 1/2" and 4 7/8" barrel lengths

Extra set of fire blue screws for each revolver.

Chambering:

--- .38 S & W Special

--- auxiliary cylinder -- 9mm Luger

They'd have to be affordable. Would like to see them available individually, or as a special, consecutive matched set in a custom double Boyt lockable canvas field kit and with heavy Ruger logo socks.

Just a thought

I would like to see Ruger make a faithful reproduction of the Merwin-Hulbert revolver.

Wow, now there's a project that has killed two different companies already.

Good luck, GJ

Probably means in .36, but wants it to be good for conversion cylinders for.38....

Yes, I'd like a conversion cylinder so I can have a ROA that can shoot .38/.357 cartridges.

So 44-40 seems to be a common request

lets make them in a SASS New Vaquero 7 1/2" so those who want them shorter can cut to desired length

Here are a couple of easy ones that are different enough that they would probably sell well.

Either the SASS Vaquero setup, plow handle 4.6" barrel or the TALO special edition set up, bird's head and 3.5" barrel in 44 special.

They already make or have just recently made all the parts so it would just be a matter of putting the right pieces together. Being a less available caliber that easily fits the small frame would insure favorable sales.

Hope this helps,

I would like a pair of Ruger Bisley Vaquero's in Stainless steel with 7.5 inch barrels 45 Colt.

They make or use to make SS Bisley 45's. You could purchase a pair and have your favorite gunsmith install the 7 1/2" barrels. I can only presume Ruger still sells 7 1/2" barrels, or perhaps their is another source for the barrels. Not a horrible task to get done.

or, purchase 7 1/2 Vaquero and switch out grip frame to bisley.

I wouldn't mind:

GP-100 6-shot, 10 mm / .40 S&W, fixed sight 3" Stainless

GP-100 5-shot, .44 Special, fixed sight 3" Stainless

(currently available from custom gunsmiths)

Since they are already building the base gun platform, this shouldn't be too far or a stretch to accomplish.

41 Colt. Double action. Offer in real CCH and stainless. Available with 3.5" and 4.5" barrels. While yer at it put a birds head grip on it.

+ 1- if I could spare the dinero :( .

Lightning-type grip, not BH.

And, obviously, not a true copy of the original lightning DA mechanism.

Stainless 5.5" New Vaquero in .44 special

This one, and 7.5" too!

With SBH installed!

As long as we're dreaming I like the idea mentioned earlier about a SR1911 CCO.

The Colt CCO is a handy weapon. Somewhat pricey.

And Stoney Creek has a great idea about a SR1911 in 38 Super. Commander style preferred.
