Hi Everyone!

We are proud to have a new addition here at SASS Headquarters!

Amelia Martinez (that's her "real" name) joined us a few weeks ago, and is proving to have quite a difficult time choosing an alias.

So, we are launching a contest amongst our members via the SASS Wire Forum, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to name the New Girl!

You can find the post and a photo of Amelia here:

https://www.facebook.com/sassnet

The rules:

Submit your alias suggestion for Amelia by either posting on this thread, or any of the social media posts by next Monday, September 30.

What do you win:

Well, besides getting to name the new girl!??

If Amelia chooses YOUR alias suggestion, you will WIN a customized prize package from SASS! What's a customized prize package, you ask? Well, that's my way of saying I'm not sure what we'll give the winner yet. If the winner is an annual member, the prize might be a year's membership... if the winner is a life member, maybe the prize is some customized life member goodies? We'll customize the package to the winner to make sure its a great prize!

Ready.....Set.....Go!

~Misty

Here are a few ..... maybe more later:

Cat Brules

“Sassy Amelita” or……..”Sassilita Amelita”

“Paulita Maxwell” was Billy the Kid’s girlfriend just down the road from y’all in Fort Sumner. Legend has it that her brother married her off quickly after Billy’s death and that she had his son. The boy resembled Billy and there’s TV program that occasionally gets aired that shows Paulita’s son and a photo of Billy and notes the unmistakable resemblance.

“Lola Montez” was a well-known California historical figure and a Madam from Grass Valley.

“Felina Caliente” a tribute to Marty Robbins’ heroine from his song, El Paso and a good name for a SASS cutie.

“Doña Ana” was an historical figure and namesake for Doña Ana County, New Mexico.

“Deadshot Jane” has a ring to it, but maybe too plain-jane for Amelia.

Amelia resembles the character Helen Sanchez in the Clint Eastwood film "Joe Kidd." Helen Sanchez was the girl friend of Louis Chama, one of the main characters in the film. Amelia could dress as Helen Sanchez in the movie. She wore a good costume with a distinctive hat.

Since she is so drop-dead gorgeous:

La bella Amelia. (Amelia the Beautiful)

or

Amelia el Magnifico. (Amelia the Gorgeous)
