Prayers needed for Miss Carol

Recommended Posts

Miss Carol was involved in a 3 car collision on I369 yesterday and totaled her car. Air bags deployed and bruised her up and she had neck and back injuries from being hit from behind and head on. Nothing broken but she is in a lot of pain. Need your prayers. The driver that hit her from the rear was not legal, no liscense, no insurance and had no registration of the vehicle so he went straight to jail. The dualie she hit from behind changed lanes and slamed on brakes at 65 mph. We are still waiting on a police decision as to whom is at fault. Duh-a!!!!

My dear God, Charlie! I'm so glad that there are no serious injuries to Miss Carole!. Cars can be replaced with nothing more than a little muss, fuss and bother. I will be more than happy to do anything needed to help y'all - you have my number, don't hesitate to call. Prayers up for the both of you.

BTW, the actions of the dualie driver sound suspiciously like an insurance fraud set-up called "swoop & squat". Was the car that hit her in the rear end occupied by more than the driver? Were there an unusual number of foreigners or illegal aliens in the other vehicles? You've already said that the dualie driver was an illegal alien - I just wondered if there were more.

The "swoop & squat" technique is used to cause an accident , usual with no serious injuries, but it is an excuse for all involved to milk the insurance companies thru a network of cooperating doctors, specialists, etc. Here's a link to a video showing the fraud in action:

Good Luck, my good friend. Special prayers going out for the two of you tonight.

You know she has our prayers, CC.

 I'll try not to be such a stranger around here. Been so busy.....I might have missed this. -_-

You take care of her, Pard.

Just spotted this post. Man o man, Charlie. Glad she's not seriously injured. If they let that undocumented individual out he'll disappear.

Here's a prayer for Miss Carol and a speedy recovery.

We are still waiting for the police report . There seems to be a problem. I have already gotten into trouble with the police chief because of the police woman giving Miss Carol an advertisement in the hospital for retreiving a police report on the accident in a hurry from a private company for an $11 fee.

Bama-I didn't count them but there were no less that 6 of them standing around the vehicle that rearended her.

Miss Carol is very sore today and her neck is the worse part. She is on muscle relaxants and Tramadol so she is OK.

Thank you one and all for your prayers and concerns.

CC

Charlie, I guarantee you that you have just become part of an insurance fraud scheme. I have a real good friend retired from the Orlando S.O. who is now an insurance fraud investigator for Geico. Don't know who you're insured with, but if you need some help or pointers, he'd be glad to talk to you even if you are not insured with Geico. Let me know what I can do.

Prayers up!!!!!! Hope carol is ok.

Bama, they usually don't do the rear ending though because then their co has to pay. But does sound suspicious. They do do the quick stops then is your fault you hit them.

Bama Red,

Sounds exactly like what it is. Very old insurance game. Also the use of illegals makes tracing whomever is in charge almost impossible.

Update: Miss Carol was not charged for rearending the truck. The driver finally told the truth about why he stopped. When he cut in on Miss Carol the car in fron of him splashed so much water on his windshield he couldn't see so the dummy slammed on brakes. The rest is history. The adjuster totaled her car. We are in arbertration now about the amount.

Miss Carol is recovering slowly but is expecting full recovery within a couple of weeks. She still won't drive and I can't say that I blame her. Thank all of you for your prayers.

Glad to hear the news, Charlie. I hope your insurance company is aggressive with the other vehicle's operators. It still looks fishy to me.

Good news, Charlie - hope she isn't too sore, but all those bruises can be real painful. Glad the insurance company seems inclined to do the right thing, now they just need to come up with the right money.

BTW, I agree with Blackwater - this thing doesn't pass the smell test.
