Alpo
https://floridaman.com/florida-woman-calls-911-over-stolen-weed-arrested-for-outstanding-warrants/ The woman put "weed" in the grinder, and after Carlos left she found that she was missing part of her "weed". So she called the cops. Has the slang for drugs changed since I was a kid? Weed is reefer, is grass, is tea, is marijuana. Ain't it? Why would you put marijuana in a grinder? Meth, yeah. Coke, yeah. Reefer?
John Kloehr
The term "tea" is new to me, but have come across ads for new electric vape devices require the "flower" be broken into tiny bits, hence "grinding." A minute with google shows it is a round twisty thing.
Alpo
Like "Mary Jane", it's an old term.
PaleWolf Brunelle, #2495L
Quote When you grind your weed, you expose more surface area, allowing for a more efficient extraction of cannabinoids. This means that you will get more THC and other beneficial compounds from your cannabis, resulting in a more potent experience. Secondly, grinding your weed improves the flavor. Alpo
Wow. Well, it's been more than 40 years since I smoked any, but back then we just kind of crumpled it up with our fingers. And if we had a bong we would clip the little red hairs off the bud and just put the hairs in the bowl. I remember that was pretty powerful. Dubious Don #56333
We're a long ways out from buying that nasty, shaggy, stem & seed filled high school weed out back of the baseball diamond, LOL. Mary Jane is now a legitimate business. Well, sorta until the feds get on the wagon LOL. I've not smoked (tobacco) in years. Back then. the shops I went to also catered to the MJ smokers. Bongs, grinders, dinguses, you name it. If it's changed, it's only to expand their selection because weed seems to be pretty popular. I'm old fashioned though, I'll stick to my booze LOL. I'm pretty sick and tired of smelling weed from other drivers, though.
bgavin
I'm a sucker for the Kirkland (Costco) version of Bailey's. Half the price, twice the amount and lesser alcohol content.

Throwing rocks at cars off an overpass and when the driver would pull up onto the overpass and get out to chase them, one of the group would jump in the car and take off in it. The more stories this guy told, the more I thought "Buddy, you should be in jail somewhere." Of course they COULD have been just stories, but it didn't sound like it.
