Yes. And I’m not ashamed of it. :D

Loved ABBA.  Dancing Queen!

Best memory of Fernando was the episode of Malcolm in the Middle where the youngest kid, Dewey, was helping out an elderly woman and they danced to Fernando.

Driving back from the Beach today, this was playing on Sirius, Fernando by ABBA. Had forgotten how good their harmony was. Had us both humming during and afterwards.

Great sounds.  Thanks I'm

Great harmonies and some pretty good tunes. I never bought their albums but I listened when they were on the radio.

Super Trouper, the most misunderstood and misspelled song title in history.

Sherron and I loved their music.

I find now, my hearing is bad and many of the notes escape me.

Even when I try to play the pipes, things sound off.

Hopefully, the hearing aids I'm getting will help a little.

Sucks getting old.

Never was a big fan.  Ain’t bad, but they were/are too sugary for my taste.  Heart is/was a stronger more talented female act and also far more instrumentally accomplished.

I never caught the “soft rock” bug.  Just wasn’t/isn’t my cup of tea.

Music is music. Regardless of the genre. Different tastes.

Because of your post I looked it up. I heard the song before, but I had no idea what they were saying.

For those that are too lazy to look it up, super trouper is a spotlight.

saw them on TV when they performed Dancing Queen in front of King and Queen of Sweden.  Queen really liked them

one of my favorites, but then so is Marty Robbins, with a Big Iron on his Hip

When they cross the Rio Grande, which way were they going?

Don’t overthink it. Remember they’re Swedish.
They lost anyway.

With a name like Fernando, obviously they were going north. They were going to pick grapes and lettuce. And Fernando had a 22 rifle to shoot jackrabbits to feed themselves as they was going through the desert.

Those girls were a couple of cuties!  However, I wonder what that "something in the air that night" might have been?  Mary Jane's perfume?  Oh, well, if they were headed for Colorado, they wouldn't have had anything illegal.

Good song. ABBA had some great music, some deep ones mixed in with all the fluff, like Fernando. Two of my other favorites were The Winner Takes It All and Knowing Me Knowing You. If you've ever been through a divorce or even a break up they hit you. If you've ever walked thru the empty house and the old familiar rooms where children used to play, you'll get it.:(

No one admits to ever listening to disco anymore, but ABBA sure sold a lot of records!

JHC ;)

I listened to it. But I never went to a disco. ;)

I like the BeeGees too. :P

Listened to it once yesterday. Then twice. Then looked up the lyrics and listened a third time.

Great tune. Somewhat haunting yet pretty and almost memorizing.
