I know that from the shoot there are many of you praying and asked to be kept up to date and since it will be tough to call everyone I thought I would post an update. The surgeon read the MRI and other tests and will do exploratory tomorrow, so we don't know much more than we did. With ovarion and colon cancer at the head of the list we still remain optomistic. As Kay says" I'll deal with reality when it's here". I'll update as I know more and thank you all. UPDATE: I apologize for not being able to call you all personally, but this is what I know. The surgeon did find tumors on the abdominal wall and it is cancerous....they took samples for testing to determine the origin and from that the treatment. We probably won't know until Monday the exact type of cancer 'KK. UPDATE: MAY 24. We were supposed to have test results yesterday, but have been told it will be another week. This is so wrong. Kay has a good attitude about this, and now has to endure another week of wondering and not knowing. THank you for your continued support. KK I just want to say to all THANK YOU, THANK YOU....your support means so much. I've seen how the members of this great sport rally around those during difficult times. You were there for me a short 6 mths ago in my time of need and now you are there for my wife. The power of prayer is strong and I know it works....thank you again. When people talk about what they love in this sport......#1 is the people and you continue to demonstate why. Thank you KK We just left the doctor. Good News, we have better than a 50% chance of beating this thing. The tumors are pretty much restricted to the stomach cavity and will have to be surgically removed along with a historectomy followed by chemotherapy. We meet with a specialist tomorrow and then a surgeon in Indy next week. Thank you all again for your continued support and prayers. We weren't on the same posse and when we shot on the same stage I just plain forgot to mention it and after shooting it totally slipped my mind. Best wishes to your wife and you. She must be an amazing woman to put up with you. Same with my bride. This does seem to be a weird weekend for so many of us to need the support of others. Everyone has mine.
