Horrible things happen during wartime. You've got young guys on both sides doing whatever it takes in order to stay alive. I'm sure Mr. Gallagher has done things he's not proud of, but for people in today's PC society to expect soldiers to make the same kinds of decisions a police officer would make on the streets of St. Louis is completely ridiculous.

As you all celebrate remember that he admitted to killing him with his knife.  Another admitted to holding his thumb over the wounded kids breathing tube.Is this the way we would like our wounded treated ?

It always frosts me when the govmint court-martials someone for doing what they were sent there to do. If you don't want them killing people don't send them there with weapons. There should be 2 ROEs:  WIN    COME HOME
