Chief Rick
As a very active motorcylist I'd be interested in how the accident happened. I believe all riders could learn from it. A motorcycle is only as safe as it's operator. With very few exceptions, the motorcycle doesn't cause the accident. Sorta like blaming a gun for an accidental shooting. I'll be sending positive thoughts to Long Hunter and family for a complete and fast recovery for Brad.

Blackwater 53393
Get well soon, Brad. Motorcycles are a way of life for some like me. I've never had an event that wasn't some person's fault. Bikes are just like guns. If you don't touch it the only thing it will do is slowly deteriorate to dust.

Long Hunter SASS #20389L
Howdy to the fire, Our family appreciates the well wishes and prayers. It’s going to be a long road to recovery for Brad. He still has a 50/50 chance of losing his leg below the knee. The rest of him will heal normally in 4-5 weeks. He’s very lucky to be alive and we all know it. We won’t discuss the accident other than it was Brad’s fault. As with firearms, most accidents happen to the more experienced shooters. He’s 38 years old and has been riding dirt and street bikes since he was 18. He is extremely good on them and had no fear. He now realizes how lucky he is to even be here. We’ll do our best to keep up at work until Brad returns. Any understanding our customers can give us at this time will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, Long Hunter
