It WAS made into a movie. Starred Don Johnson in 1975.

Huh!  Will wonders never cease!  I even got the rating right.

I wonder if it's any good?  Since I read the story in '71 or '72 I probably would have picked the movie apart.

Pretty dystopian future, not as much action as I would have liked. I actually saw it in the theater.

"A Boy and his Dog" is on Youtube.

I did not link for obvious reasons.

(I did like the movie.)

June 3, 1966 I was given the option of a full body cast or lie flat of my back for two solid months......I chose the two months option as summer heat would have been unbearable since we had no air conditioner.   (I fell 30 feet due to an accident, breaking both arms, three ribs and crushing #7-9 vertebrae into a solid mass......)  Thought I would never lie on my back again once I learned how to walk again.

Thank you. It was so fuzzy in the picture I did not realize it was arrow-shaped, so it being a turns indicator didn't click. I was sitting there wondering what was funny - it could be any of a couple of dozen different things. Red lights, yellow lights, green lights, blue lights. Why is this funny?

Sharper pictures help.

I've heard that, many many times. But around here I would say 85% of the people don't know what that lever on the side of the steering column is for.
