I'm still trying to figure out why our American is driving a right hand drive vehicle.

I will tell you one thing, in the UK back in the late 70's my English GF got a little package on at a party and I drove home.  Shift - I had a shift car at home, so no prob?  Turns out my left hand didn't have a clue on shifting.  A learning experience.  Right hand drive is fairly common for Rural U.S. Mail delivery.  The Improv are far scarier.

Before he had to be called, it was my job to take the back off the TV, remove all the vacuum tubes, place them in a cardboard box, and take them down to the Drug Store in the basket of my bicycle to be tested on the "Do it yourself" tube test machine. If I found a bad one, replacements were in the cabinet below the machine. Once I had the proper tube in hand, I still had to ride back home, reassemble the TV, and test it to make sure it was working properly. THEN I could watch "Huckleberry Hound", "Quick Draw McGraw", "The Flintstones", or whatever else I wanted to, as long as there wasn't an OSU ball game on.

It still works in the rain. Just not as well as it does when it's not raining.
