Red Wolf
I bet you that thing shoots out some serious flames. How do you not need an FFL to buy that? It's apparently CA compliant too. Red Wolf

Depends on how much BP you stuff in it. I’d keep it around 50 gns of 2f I think. The Shotgun Nation review shooting it at 15 yards was silly. I think it’s a 10 yard gun max. They claim it's legal in CA, but I can assure you it ain't. It is a handgun in appearance so calling it "any other weapon" does not cut it with the CA DOJ. It's either a handgun or it's a long gun. There are no in-betweens here in La-La-Land. It would be considered a "sawed of shotgun". You cannot by a Taurus Judge here or that S&W Governor. They are not allowed. Alpo
This was put out by the NRA twenty years ago. NRA-ILA FAX ALERT 11250 Waples Mill Road * Fairfax, VA 22030 Phone: 1-800-392-8683 * Fax: 703-267-3918 * GROOTS@NRA.org Vol. 4, No. 50 12/12/97 BATF CLASSIFIES SOME "IN LINE" MUZZLELOADERS AS "FIREARMS" According to an Industry Circular sent out to all FFL holders last week by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, muzzleloaders "with in-line firing mechanisms designed or redesigned to use modern conventional firearm primers DO NOT meet the definition of antique firearms, and are therefore now subject to regulation as a "firearm." The issue revolves around the definition of "modern ammunition," in which BATF classifies a primer, by itself, as ammunition. BATF is operating under the premise that if a "modern primer" is used anywhere in the firing mechanism, then the firearm is "modern," and thus, not subject to the 1898 exemption for antiques or replicas. "Primers are not an antique ignition system and are ammunition subject regulation," That thingy uses shotgun primers. Sounds like ATF would say it's a modern firearm.
