I signed up at the match and I am ready to go. One thing I did not see on the form was the mounted cart shooting.

Can we sign up for that in advance? Several of the shooters signed up for 2 or 3 runs last time so I would like to sign up for 3 runs on it.

I've got it on my bucket list.  Not sure if it will be next year or the year after.  It will happen.

That mounted cart shooting is the most fun I've ever had for $5.  Maybe next time I will remember which gun had the last bullet in it.

The only problem with Comin At

Looks like shoot and scoot will be moving to move to side match day and motorized mounted shooting  will have to last longer . 118 shooters shot last year. Big thank you goes out to Chicken Scratch, Dirt Dart and Nuttin for the great driving. Boozy Creek will change the course a bit and be ready for next year. Thank you goes out to everyone who pitched in and helped with ballon setting

I don't know.  The one I was on wasn't so bad:lol:

I had Billy Boots as a Marshall and NonStop as his assistant.  Couldn't ask for a better posse.

And don't forget to write in "Plainsman" (C&B revolvers & single shot rifle), below Wild Bunch for a side match on your application (noting whether you are shooting Traditional or Modern).  Let's see if we can get TWO posses!

Was in Nj at Purgatory In The Pines and a few folks were talking about how amazing CAC was so the minute I got home I sent in a check for my wife and I. See you next year!

Billy Boots and Noz, I'll posse with you guys any time.  This year was my first CAC and I signed up for next year before I left.   We shot Hell Fire in Luzzeanna the weekend before and just made a 17 day camping trip out of it.   I'm already looking forward to next year.

A 17 day camping trip? That sounds AWESOME! Combining camping and cowboy just seems like a natural fit to me.

We combined all kinds of stuff into that 17 day trip.  Confederate cannon foundry, casino, Civil War battlefield, Hell Fire, CAC, Graceland and a cave.

Me too.  I have shot on many Billy Boots posses at Eot, Winter Range and others.  Had a great time .  Sir William Boots always makes sure everybody has a good time. Badlands Bob was really impressive.  Glad to have watched him shoot gunfighter. Wish I could.  My brain doesn't work good enough to do that.  I will shoot with that old drug dealer any time.   (actually a pharmacist).

I mailed my entry today.  I plan to posse with all the Louisiana guys, Red River Rudy, Taco Bill,  Marshall Big Daddy Jenks and "Mr Congeniality" Galvez.  I have won a 22 pistol, a Bar B Q pit and a couple of buckles over the years and can't wait to get back there.  It is my favorite shoot.   Two years ago I forgot my cowboy boots and walked into the barn sale and found the perfect pair.  The barn sale is also Awesome.  Irish Pat, sass 19486, Silver Senior Duelist
