Rye Miles #13621
The National Anthem was terrible by whatever that singer's name was and the half-time show was nothing but a bunch of pomp and glitter, no REAL music if ya ask me! The game's not bad though………... Rye

Charlie Plasters, SASS#60943
I don't think I understood one word from the halftime show. And the goofy costumes and such reminded me of the idiotic final ceremonies from the Olympics but without an announcer explaining the all important symbology of what we were witnessing. Yul Lose
The halftime was a disaster, IMO. Acoustics were terrible, unless that's really what she sounds like. Very sophomoric production.

Yellowhouse Sam # 25171
Such half time entertainment, if you call it that or just deversionary tactics, has morphed into glitzy promenades consisting of doubtful singing talent and scores of frantic dancers. "BLEAH! Yeah I know that Perry is supposed to be a fair singer but you couldn't prove it by the half time show.

The game's not bad though………... Rye I couldn't understand most of the music sang, if was really sung. The half time was a waste of my time. Ball game was better than I expected, that passing play at the one yard line and intercepted was the biggest joke of the game. It was almost like it's your turn to win, we don't want to take that away. all in all, very disappointing.
Southpaw Gringo, SASS # 74217
I thought the National Anthem was good. She nailed it and I loved the jets doing a fly by. Half time show no dought sucked. I thought it was something from Nickelodeon. Best comercial I think was from Fiat with the Viagra tablet. LOL!! DocWard
Since I was asleep, I missed pretty much everything. I had to go back to listen to the National Anthem after my sister complained. While the purist in me prefers it to be performed "straight," I had no problems with the rendition. Considering some of the "stylistic license" taken over the years by some performers, I didn't mind what I heard this time around.

(must be the drummer in me ) What ground my hind end was the way that these "anthem singers", including the one at the Super Bowl, try and make it THEIR song rather than singing it the traditional way, after all it is OUR song, NOT their song. If you are going to have the honor, and yes it is an honor, to sing our national anthem then have the decency to do it right!

Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
What really grabs me is that the amount of money these companies waste on commercials that leave people wondering what they are selling. If I don't know or understand what you want to sell me, I probably won't buy it, unless it is by accident. And the advertising manager is not going to pay for it. The customer and share holders are going to pay for it. I heard this morning that one of the commercials went for 4 million dollars for what ?, 30 seconds? That is a lot of greenbacks. Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Saw somthing on the screen yesterday; a couple of ice skaters appearing in a skit of some kind, and the guy was dressed in a DRESS? I don't have any problem with his sexual orientation, but a DRESS? Come on, folks. Have we come to this, that we allow young to become so confused that they don't know what they are? Shakespearean actors wore dresses. Now, a dress on a performer is one thing, but I have to draw the line at PDA between players. Get a room, guys. Dungannon Gunner
Loctite is a CT based company. And, even I hung my head in disbelief........... At one time that was correct. They are now owned by 'Henkel' an German company. I sold the stuff for years. Founded in 1876, Henkel is a global leader in the consumer and industrial businesses with brands such as Persil, Schwarzkopf and Loctite. Headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany, Henkel employs about 47,000 people worldwide and the company’s preferred shares are listed in the German stock index DAX.
