The old tag on Ol’ Green, my ‘97 big block dually.

The new Tennessee tag reads the same, but I don’t have a picture of it, yet.

Haven't got a pic handy, but our Harley plate is "2 HORGS" and the camper we towed with the Harley was "HOG HUT"

There's a Corvette lives around the corner. DR SAID2

If it's prescription, would Medicare pay for it?

Howdy,

I gave up on special plates.

In my book the more forgettable the better.

I'm too cheap to pay extra for personalized plates!

Posted

When I got them in Connecticut, they were like a $40 one time charge. Up here in VT it's $45 every year!

Ohio wants $50 extra every year!  No way Jose!!

You did better than me. I was reading it as slower, couldn't figure out the YD part, and really couldn't understand why a vette should be "slower".

An Archie comic book, many many years ago. They had just introduced personalized plates in Riverdale, and Archie decided to get one that said SUPERDUDE.

Unfortunately they had a limit of eight letters, and his new license plate said

SUPERDUD

This is one that I saw in Toronto years ago.  2TH DR  it belonged to a dentist.

Not a license plate, but a bumper sticker I once saw on a convertible driven by a beautiful woman:

"I caught the crabs at Dirty Nellie's"    .       I was grossed out even with her beauty, until I learned that Dirty Nellie's was a Sea Food Restaurant.....

Years ago, in another state, I would occasionally encounter a gorgeous blonde in a fancy late model sports car during my commute.  Plate FKT4IT.

Another sticker one. When I worked at the Chevy shop, we had a pretty one come in with a GMC Hummer. The back window had a giant set of red lips and the phrase " Everybody enjoys a hummer"

Had a shooter from N.C. come to the Florida State SASS match some years back. He plate read NO BAMA. Didn't have anything to do with Alabama.

When I see a car driven by a beautiful woman I don’t recall ever noticing license plates or bumper stickers.

You just reminded me...

I saw a beautiful woman driving a Jeep. She had two bumper stickers that read;

If you're going to ride my ass

At least, pull my hair

It gets harder to chew thru the restraints every morning

And you just reminded me that I saw a Jeep SUV at Walmart with a sticker in the back window that said “Powered by B**** Dust”

Smokin hot blonde ( thirties at least ) drove a Saab with the plate Swede 9......

which was ALWAYS written as sweet 9 -  never unfortunately got called out on it .
