"Cougar" is slang for an older woman who enjoys the attentions of young men.

What name would you like? Pick one. We’ll make sure you get called by it often so make sure it’s something you like…

Let’s see…it should represent an animal that one would equate with a dirty ol…I mean, male cougar type person. What could it be?…

Skunk

I think given the SASS website the term would properly be polecat. As in that ole polecat is drunk as a skunk. But Forty Rod wants a flattering term so if Sugar Daddy doesn't work then maybe Panther or Manther.

I’m glad they were able to capture the cougar and keep it safe.
180 pounds is pretty heavy.  Generally, they are 85 to maybe 120 pounds.  They can pose a threat to medium sized pets and small children. Obviously, they don’t come into settled areas very often.  If theydo, that’s an indicator that they could be ill, possibly with rabies.  Even if they are around you in a rural area, you likely will never see them. They are reclusive and stay out of sight. I generally keep my horses in open pens (they really dislike the barn) and let them out during the day.  The smart ones stay away from the horses because the horses are likely to kill them if they he come aggressive and come into the pens.  They tend to stay away from aggressive dogs, even medium size dogs because they can’t afford to become hurt even from a relatively small injury,
