  1. The perfect storm, national riots and then election of an administration hostile to gun rights. Ammo manufacturers would be wise to invest in building new plants and capacity. Yes it would take 3 to 4 years to bring them on line, but with increased firearm ownership, increasing concealed carry, and a pattern of consumers rushing to buy ammo and guns in panics 2 to 3 times a decade, they would benefit and make back any investment in a few years. I don't expect the ammo shortage to end for at least 3 years at this point, maybe longer. Gun availability will come back first, you can still get guns
  2. I believe Cookie Monster was already cancelled on the show, I think he had to drop the cookies and pretend to crave veggies instead. On another note this story inspired me to find and purchase a copy of "Song of the South" on dvd to show all the young'uns.
  3. But don't explain this to a dedicated gear whore or brand name fanboy or they will become angry. I love high end custom firearms they are works of art and mechanical joys, but in the end like all things you pay $$$$$$ for marginal improvements after a certain point.

  5. Per the problem of paper not taking ink or the pen skipping on sections of paper, I found this. Seems that oily or greasy paper often will not work with many pens. Especially those with roller balls. I wonder if someone handling the copy paper somewhere down the line had oily hands or used hand lotion while handling the paper? https://chemistry.stackexchange.com/questions/9872/what-is-going-on-when-pen-stops-working-on-a-section-of-paper
  6. I have some nice gold filled Cross pens and pencils as well as some silver from 40 plus years ago, they are very nice looking and heavy duty - but they are too thin and slick for me especially with all the writing I have to do. I bought a Fisher Space Pen - Non-Reflective Military Matte Black M4B- Cap-O-Matic as it wasn't as expensive as many others and will give it a try. I'm thinking at this point I will carry G2 pens with my work bag for work and then the Fisher Space Pen as part of my EDC clipped to my shirt, then if I come upon some of those unwritable sections o
  7. I ordered a fisher military space pen we'll see how it works. I have the G2 gel pens and they aren't working very well right now after being my go to pens after I had to give up my beloved pilot liquid ink pens. But still open to suggestions. Also how does one get the fisher refills to work in a Parker jotter?
  8. I write everyday for work, pages and pages - work provided the awful generic capped ballpoints that were a pain to write with - thin, heavy pushing it over a page of writing, not convienent to carry. So I bought my own intially I used the liquid ink pens and loved them. Smooth, with clips that allowed them to disappear clipped to a t shirt collar, thicker barrel to hold onto, and flowed easily as you wrote accross a page. There are forms that I have to fill with writing at work and the paper or paper quality seemed to change - suddenly entire sections of paper couldn't be written on as the pen
  9. Just to be clear, I know what the title of the video says, but upon viewing it is more about people who don't know the facts about firearms than anything else. And, I have known people of all political persuasions who are uninformed about firearms, perhaps more often on one side than the other, but that is not the point and political argument isn't wanted or needed here. The point is that when people are exposed in a non-confrontational and non-argumentative way with information about firearms they are much more receptive to being open to learning new information. That's why taking someone to

  11. Here's another option guys - concealed carry leggings.
  12. Ah, I was thinking you were getting rifle sights fixed and then paying to a pistol holster - but I see there is a pistol Zastava M70. Well that does limit choices unless you want to go custom made holster. But there are a few I found other than military made more for CCW. https://www.amazon.com/STICH-PROFI®-Tokarev-Zastava-holster/dp/B01FZUSH9K/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=Tokarev+Holster&qid=1613609170&sr=8-5 https://www.amazon.com/Concealed-Holster-Tokarev-Zastava-Norinco/dp/B08PJ6GS9J/ref=pd_sbs_8?pd_rd_w=bjnZc&pf_rd_p=3ec6a47e-bf65-49f8-80f7-0d7c7c7c
