J-BAR #18287
At least Bones was classy enough to use open tops.
Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967
Awww heck.... It was fun. With a little suspension of knowledge from experience, it's likely the way a bunch of "civilians" might see us. Haw! Kinda like and Army vet watching Sgt Bilko. One thought I had was that targets would cost a fortune...!

Tex Jones, SASS 2263
I'm sure all the CAS shooters had a good time; it sure looked like FJT always had a smile plastered on his face. The last scene with the group assembled looked to me to be the entire CAS group. I saw Mattel Sackett, Trigger Chappie, FJ Turner and Shotgun Boogie, for sure. There were others, but I have never met them.
Linn Keller, SASS 27332, BOLD 103
Miz Allie, I, um ... (takes off hat) (turns red) (kicks dirt) My, um, wife, like them ... she likes them kinda shows too, and, um ... (bites bottom lip) I watch Kenda with her and we both like him 'cause he's a southpaw and he carries a .45 and he gets things done and he grabs the phone on the first ring so it don't disturb his family when they're asleep! (stops and pants a little) (said too much on one breath!)

Allie Mo, SASS No. 25217
Before I fell asleep, I saw Shotgun Boogie, FJT, Gunhawk, Billy Bob (I think that is his name), I don't usually watch Bones because it bores me. I hate starting something and going to sleep before the end.
Noz
You missed nothing. I used to be a Bones fan but was dismayed by the lack of reasonable writeing in this show. IT WAS PATHETIC.
Calamity Kris
I want to know all the technical stuff: Where was it filmed? {Melodyland Ranch, me thinks} Name all the cowboys. When did the filming take place? Who taught use of the guns? And so on.................. FJT - please chime in.
Ramblin Gambler
If you haven't seen it yet, he's responding to a couple of bones threads in the main forum. He might be scairt to come into the saloon after that big saloon fight they had on the show.

FJT posted quite a bit about it on Facebook while they were filming it. Looked like they were having a lot of fun and it was good to see the show chose to use some of our real " Cowboys" for the show instead of all from their traditional casting pool. Uno Mas SASS #80082
When the big doofus playing the male lead was on the line with the Yellowboy, I was thinking "Hell, as slow as I am, I'm a LOT faster than that idiot."I could only stand about a minute... Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
I didn't get to watch it when it was broadcast originally. I recorded it and watched it this morning. First blush was LOTS OF NEAT FIREARMS. NOT QUITE SASS, BUT AS CLOSE AS IT IS GONNA GET IN HOLLYWIERD OR WHERE EVER IT WAS FILMED. I LIKE THE SASS FORMAT MUCH BETTER. Don't know nor have I ever met any of those folks, but they seem like the SASS folks that I do know, FIRST RATE FOR THE MOST PART.
Chili Ron
Howdy, Bar fights, that IS WHATS MISSING from SASS matches. I KNEW that there was something. A good ol knock down drag out BARFIGHT. Ever Maveric show had at LEAST one. Like one young feller said, "don't they know they are wearing GUNS?". Best CR
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
I suspect that a belly ride down the bar is a Hollywierd invention. Most bar fights I know of, were bloody faces and bruised knuckles. Perhaps a few teeth in the process.

Guys used to be able to punch out their differences without becoming homicidal. Nowadays you get shot for "dissing" somebody.
Blastmaster
Thats the difference in the old days and now. Guys used to be able to punch out their differences without becoming homicidal. Nowadays you get shot for "dissing" somebody. Perhaps it all started out with fist fights, then a foot stomping, then someone used a long neck beer bottle or pool cue for a club to gain advantage or to fend off multiple persons, then a switchblade knife because long neck wasn't handy, then progressed to a gun. Gang fought other gangs and spilled over to anyone any more. I am not a cop but that could be the progression of civil violence against one another over a few generations to what we see today. Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
I'm a lover, not a fighter. Let us just leave it at that. I dew love to shoot those SASS firearms though. Can't say that I hit much, but the bang and buck is fun.
