Colorado is in the mix too.

Awb, hi cap mag ban, and a bill to hold firearms manufacturers liable for any crimes committed.

My Great Grandma had a lot of wise old sayings. One has just come to mind:

"You've made your bed... now lie in it!"

And when the self same legislation comes to your state, rest assured we in CA will say the exact same thing to you. Actually, that's not true. Most of us will pitch in and send whatever help we can to change the minds of your misguided state lawmakers. That's the difference. We won't just turn our backs on you and leave you with pithy homilies. Think about it.

Yeah, sometimes it's best to wait before you post...

Feinstein must have talked to NJ Senators Lautenburg & Weinstein together. I don't see anything about Personalized Handguns. Between the 2 of these NJ politicians for the NJ Law, they have plowed over 5 million dollars trying to make the concept work and after 4 years it's still a pipe dream

What the heck is a ... Changing definition of shotgun revolving cylinder?

Next holds forth, the BATF exclusions for antique firearms?

(sound of thunderous applause) Well said, sir.

We are all in this together. This country is becoming so homogenized that what happens in one place can surely happen in another...

just a matter of time, and politicians who want to pass "feel good" legislation for the scared and uninformed.

( just my opinion...no facts here... but I think it's often in an effort to insure the politician's chances in the next election... once in power, stay in power.

That's why we need to show them how big a voting bloc we can be! )

Well said, Pard. This is one fight where all of us have to stand together, period. While gun sales and NRA memberships are up, we still have one heck of a battle ahead of us.

What they want and what they get are two different things when it has to do with going through legislative committees. Then they have to pass the bills. Then it goes to the courts. We will see how far they get even in California. Same will happen in the other states.I have a feeling this may be a long fight.

"Bullet Buttons"??

"Shotgun Revolving Cylinder"??

And now we have "Assault Bullets"??

Fixed Magazines requiring tools to remove and a 10 round limit, well to this simple minded shooter, there goes alot of our lever type guns as well as a lot of 22 rifles.

We as gun owners are diluted moreso than in the past, we are spread out across the country and there are not enough of us to go around. I'm sure there are lots of 2nd Amendment supporters in California, folks who hold this Nation and our Bill of Rights as sacred as I do. Sometimes I think we all need to move to a few states and tell the Feds to go %$#@& themselves.

I'm a long ways away and not a voter in CA. But let me know if I can help, it's everybodys battle....

Haven't you been listening?! Rick Perry has been telling you Californians with any brains left to move to TEXAS! It's BIG enough to hold all of us gun totin', God fearin', bible readin' folks who are willin' to fight for freedom and liberty. If/when I can sell my two properties and all the junk I have accumulated in a lifetime I'm heading there!

This is actually much better than I read on another forum. It was reported as a 6-round magazine limit and that possession of over 500 rounds would be a felony. I guess that they had to dial it back a little from "completely insane" to just "full retard".

California has more Gun Owners attending Gun Shows over a weekend than the entire population of the Great State of DT! The Problems is, we have even more Gun Haters than that.. and they are in control right now. One of the biggest faults in the Gun Community has always been the Pissing contest between Gun Owners. The inablility of a few to see that the immediate Plight of others is just a preview of whats comming their way, has always been one of our weaknesses. The Opposition pulls together, rather than throwing slurs at one another.

In this case, I do believe that your Grandma was right... You've made your bed... now lie in it!

Funny, I see all these bills that say I will have to turn in my "assault weapons" and hi-cap mags but I never see anything about any recompense for said items. So I am just supposed to give away my 1000.00 rifles? My 500.00 auto pistols? I don't think so. The term "illegal seizure" comes to mind. California sure as hell can't afford to BUY all these guns back from us, we are already bankrupt. And how in the world am I supposed to load these guns with fixed mags anyway? I know, they don't give a crap. And banning Hollowpoints? So now we all have to use full jacketed bullets that if used will go through the bad guy and through a wall or 2 and kill the neighbors? They really are stupid, aren't they.

Everybody that owns a gun, or might eventually want to own a gun needs to join and support the NRA, GOA

and any other pro-gun organization.

EVERYBODY needs to RAISE MORE HELL about this insanity!

When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns...

All this stuff would be silly if it wasn't so dang serious. And now the cops have shot up a lady delivering newspapers because she drove a pickup...which the Rogue Cop was also driving. Slight differece: Pickups weren't even close to looking alike. A small woman vs a large black cop....

It is really insane.

The press/media are really jacking this stuff up. If it was just the legislature, this stuff wouldn't have a chance. But, give some pol a microphone and he'll ride it like a donkey d...

No matter what your opinion is concerning California we all need to stand behind the gun owners there. Unfortunately what starts in California spreads like a cancer across the country. We need to join forces and stop this crap at it’s source, wherever that source may be.

United we stand divided we will surely fall

They don't care about the 2nd Amendment. Why should they care about the 4th?

Hell. lets just gut the whole Bill of Rights. It's outdated right?

heres another quote for you

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out--

Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out--

Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--

Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

So exactly what is a bullet button?

It is a device that is installed on a gun like the ar-15 that needs the use of a bullet or a tool to release the magizine. It is a pain in the butt to have on my ar. It was not bad enough that there was a 10 round limit. Then to install this fecal waste makes for a sad target shooter.

I have similar problems myself. Fortunately I had a prosthetic device installed to aid in my lack of good judgement, though I admit I sometimes forget to use it. Ya see, its a plate of plexiglass in my stomach. Sometimes my head is so far up my ass I need a way to see where I am going.
