No Cartoons!

I haven’t had cable TV in years. When I did, over 6 years ago, I never watched it and haven’t really watched regular TV since the mid 2000’s.

My wife and I decided to get cable when we moved into our new (to us) home because the cable company made us a deal in order to get internet.

Anyway, I have been working my tail off with this move for the past 2 weeks and I woke up this morning thinking “I am going to watch cartoons! It’s rainy, my back and legs still ache from building a shed yesterday. I am going to watch cartoons this morning.”

Problem is there aren’t any!

Oh, there is some crap on the Cartoon Network called Dramarama with a bunch of screaming whiney characters, but that is it. The kids channels all have kid dramas and the regular TV stations have infomercials

Weird

Most of the cartoons we watched as children are now too violent, culturally inappropriate, and not politically correct!!  :angry:

Pat, have you tried Amazon? Might be able to find a DVD or two of the old Looney Toons, etc. Used to watch them every Saturday as a kid and even with my kids later on. Great fun!!

JC

Well, yes. Since we moved I can’t find my remotes or Fire Stick so I am stuck with cable until I can find them.

I can't live without my morning comics.

I do https://www.gocomics.com.

It allows you to pick from many strips, updated daily.

Thanks Noz, the local paper removed my two of my favorite comics, Get Fuzzy and Lio, only to replace them with some very unfunny, liberal pos comics.

Far as cartoons go, there hasn't been any of the classic cartoons on for many years now. I really miss them........
