Most of mine have already been mentioned..I could add:

My wife, kids, and grandkids..

My In-laws (I know a lot of guys don't care for their in-laws, but mine are a close, loving family that I'm very lucky to be a part of)

My dogs

My guitars

Horses

Falling snow

Wildflowers..Or flowers of any kind for that matter

A mountain spring (Both the water kind and the season)

Fall season, when the leaves are turning

Dawn in a deer stand, when the woods are first waking up..

Two ends of a common thread: bald eagles and humming birds. Also red-tail hawks.

Cougars and grizzly bears. (I love 'em, but don't trust either one.)

A full moon on a rally cold and frost night.

Lantana in bloom.

Old Marx 3/16 tinplate electric trains.

ABBA, the Statler Brothers, Carly Simon, the USMC Band at 8th and I, Slim Whitman yodeling.

Hmmm - I reckon there are a few 'closet' enjoyments that you didn't reveal - probably best :P

The rush as my hull first leaves the water on a take-off.

A ride on the Dragon's Tail.

BP smoke so thick that the rifle targets are gone.

Pards to ride the river with.

Smiles and hugs.

A winding road with the SVT or the trike.

Bacon.

Life its ownself.

The Good Book and a good book.

Eagles and Redtail Hawks floating in the air viewed from my deck or front windows.

Waking to a sunny morning.

The rush of a perfect 1/4 mile.

Our Blessed Lady of Acceleration.

Dogs and cats.

Poof, Boom, Poof, Boom...38 SC in the left hand; .45 SP in the right blowing Holy Black Smoke. :D

It means "You are lovely and talented beyond words."

Trust me.

I didn't know that Okie could spell "lovely and talented beyond words," in any language.

Heck fir, I didn't know that Okie could spell atall.

You were making reference to Calico Mary, is that correct, Bob?

Welcome UB.

I forgot John Phillip Sousa.

Scrauniest boy in the HS band. I think I got the Sousaphone for not practising and to see if I could really carry the beast for an entire parade!

Loved playing JPS; of course; since he wrote many of his marches to highlight the Sousaphone.

UB,

We do share some of the same tastes in out favorite things....

Here are a few of mine:

Sitting by the fire with my dog on my lap

A nice glass of red wine

Watching the morning sunrise over the Capitan Mountains

The feel of my old Ruger Single Six on my belt when I am out and about

Walking with my pup through the woods

A nice cigar with a glass of scotch

Randall knives

Finding a nice antler shed

Watching the sunset over Sierra Blanca

The smell of black powder smoke

Odd as it sounds, the tears of joy I get from my kids is one of my favorite things.

At Disney last fall we walking into the park and my daughter grabbed my hand and said "I love you daddy, thanks for bringing us here."

Last Monday I took my son to a hockey game that I really didn't feel like going to; 1+ hour drive both ways and fighting a cold. But
the huge smile on his face the whole trip made it worth it.

My daughters 5th birthday was yesterday; that little girl's smile really lights up a room.

1. My Kids
2. My wife

In no particular order

A stringer of crappie
Fighting a 3+ pound Smallmouth bass
1866 Uberti
The few minutes just before the sun comes up; either in a tree stand or a boat

Pickin' a banjo
Enough smoke that no one can see the targets

That pretty much covers the issue, Sam.

I wish I could convince my wife that most of her frustration comes from the talking heads on the TV.

Oh well, I love her just the same.

HOLY SNACKS! Some low life did steal my avatar.

This calls for lock and load. They will be sorry. Now

quick shoot and slow draw Badger is on the trail.

I can track an owl hoot on hard rock.

Getting back to the thread, wonder why nobody has posted things that irritate them.

Nobody mentioned shaving their legs for wearing nylons.

Oh yeah! Anything that hasn't been posted already probably irritates the hell out of me.

Having survived prostate cancer surgery a few weeks ago, just being on this side of the sod is at the top of the list. Recovery is a long haul, but long-term prospects are looking fine right now too! :D Which means I'll be around longer to enjoy:

My awesome, loving wife and family

Our indoor critters (one lab, two tabbies)

Cowboy shooting and Wild Bunch

Tinkering on my reloading/gun bench

The Grand Canyon

Rivers

Oceans

Sunsets

Sunrises

The Flint Hills of Kansas

Northern Arizona

A great cowboy movie

This list goes on and on... :)

Wakin up next to my beautiful wife every morning, hearing my grandkids laugh, the smell of rain on fresh cut alfalfa, sunrise in the Ozarks, sunset in the Ozarks, limb lining for catfish, my family, great new friends I've met through CAS, cornbread or biscuits in a Dutch oven on a campfire, the smell of a nice campfire, coffee over a campfire. I, like the rest of you, could go on and on, but the list would be extremely long. And yep, I admit I'm a bit of a softie.
