Utah Bob #35998 Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Belly up folks! Back from doctor's appointments. MY primary doc and the surgeon both agree that the chance of my "mystery mass" being cancerous is very very small. Not absolutely out of the question but pretty remote according to their analysis. I'll take that. Back in for another procedure in a couple of weeks and then one more final surgery in the next month or two. I remain cautiously optimistic. Trying to build my weight back up now. I have the okay to eat like a swine and I'm trying to be as porcine as possible. I was wondering last night exactly how much I'd shrunk. Hadn't weighed myself in years actually. Just gauged things by the tightness of my britches. I dug around in the closet and pulled my old dress uniform blouse out. The one I got married in back in '68. Imagine my shock when it fit like a glove. Dang!! I am now one skinny old dude! Time for some ice cream and Oreos.

Utah Bob #35998 Posted January 5, 2011 Author Posted January 5, 2011 But now that they took out yer brain, how are you going to function? Did they replace it with ABnormal? Was Marty Feldman anywhere around the area? When I went in for the first surgery, before they put me under, I informed the OR crew that I was proud to be an organ donor but that they shouldn't get any dang ideas about jumpin the gun.

Alas, Bottles says there's not a decent bottle of Bordeaux to be had. He's gone to the cellar where he thinks he spotted a case of redddish looking stuff from the upper NY State region.
