Belly up folks! B)

Back from doctor's appointments. MY primary doc and the surgeon both agree that the chance of my "mystery mass" being cancerous is very very small. Not absolutely out of the question but pretty remote according to their analysis. I'll take that.

Back in for another procedure in a couple of weeks and then one more final surgery in the next month or two.

I remain cautiously optimistic.

Trying to build my weight back up now. I have the okay to eat like a swine and I'm trying to be as porcine as possible.

I was wondering last night exactly how much I'd shrunk. Hadn't weighed myself in years actually. Just gauged things by the tightness of my britches.

I dug around in the closet and pulled my old dress uniform blouse out. The one I got married in back in '68.

Imagine my shock when it fit like a glove. Dang!! I am now one skinny old dude!:FlagAm:

Time for some ice cream and Oreos. ;)

Very good news, Bob! Continued good health to you. Prayers will continue till you get the final word from the docs.

Good news, UB... Been a bit quiet without you around... Continued prayers until you're back to sage self again...

Good to see you back, hope you continue to do well for quite a spell. Lay in the grease, fried stuff, lots of cake and ice cream and non lite beer and that uniform will be too small in no time... :FlagAm:

Excellent news UB, I hope and pray things keep getting better and better. I'd gladly give you as much weight as you want, if only it worked that way. I can afford to spare a couple.....of hundred pounds.

But now that they took out yer brain, how are you going to function? Did they replace it with ABnormal? Was Marty Feldman anywhere around the area? :FlagAm:

When I went in for the first surgery, before they put me under, I informed the OR crew that I was proud to be an organ donor but that they shouldn't get any dang ideas about jumpin the gun. ;)

Oh yeah, since the Claret is on you, I'll have a bottle of 1990 Latour please. :FlagAm:

Alas, Bottles says there's not a decent bottle of Bordeaux to be had. He's gone to the cellar where he thinks he spotted a case of redddish looking stuff from the upper NY State region.
