Damn, another school shooting. The descent into anarchy continues.

Prayers to the families of the victims, and to all those affected by another senseless tragedy.

And the "state running" so called media, is literally wetting itself spewing out conjecture and I told ya so and opinions. Very little facts, but then they don't really care about facts anymore.

One reporter was practically foaming at the mouth as they feigned outrage that the pistol used was purchased ONLY 4 DAYS AGO!! (emphasis not mine!)

Between the state run "education/indoctrination" system, the breakdown of families, failure to teach respect, common sense and compassion, what did folks think would happen? Bet ya $5 if the shooter doesn't fit their agenda, this story will go away very quickly. If it does, or they can lie to make it so, it'll be front and center 24/7 until the next tragedy or "injustice" story comes along.

At least this time the suspect didn't take the cowards way out.

Sorry for the rant, but I've reached my tolerance limit.

It’s definitely a tragedy for those that lost their children. It’s also a tragedy that even after numerous school shootings that the school administrators and those involved from the legal side think that what they are doing will make a difference when what they are doing exacerbates and even encourages this behavior.
Schools aren’t “schools” any more. They are social experiments. The teachers are everybody’s friends. There is no discipline. The police they have at schools are trying to be everyone’s friends. It is all a damned social event every single day…oh, and some learning is from involved. Politically sanctioned learning, in many cases.

Dr. Oz said it best when CoVid kicked off. He said “When politics and medicine collide, politics wins. It’s like that with everything. Politics and science, education, public works, medicine, everything! Politics always wins.”

Sorry. Headed down a political rabbit hole. I will stop now.

The thing that struck me was the young lady WHO HAD NEVER HEARD A GUNSHOT BEFORE!!!  In Michigan.

Where did a fifteen year old kid get a pistol in the first place.

How many kids knew about or suspected that this boy had a gun.

Lots of questions and more to come.

Add: How many people saw signs that the kid had issues but decided to kick the bucket down the road and let someone else deal with it?

Where DID a bunch of 14-17 year olds in Aurora, Colorado, get the guns that were involved in two different shootings?  They certainly didn't walk into a gun store and fill out Form 4473's!  The Aurora police chief says the parents need to "get involved"!  In the Columbine, Colorado, massacre, the parents weren't aware that the two perps had been building bombs in their garage!  Something has changed radically in this country in the last fifty years.  I wish I had an answer.  But it appears nobody has one...except defund the police!

His father bought the gun 4 days before. He bought it legally but obviously did not secure it from his crazed son! I think he’ll be in trouble also!

Homes with-out Discipline , Homes with-out Dads and homes with-out God ....

A legal system with-out Justice.

Police that are Handcuffed from doing their jobs and vilified if they do manage to get it done.

Politicians with-out Morals.

These are all Root Causes of this happening ...

These things have a tendency to happen to "soft targets", such as schools, churches, restaurants.

As was stated, the problems begin at home, or lack of a home, as the case may be.

The school district should be more pro-active. Bullet proof glass, one entrance, with guards to scan for weapons. Armed school personnel....in other words all the things the marxist/socialist/globalist/leftists democrats, and fake news media would strongly oppose.

I think they want this to happen, so there will be a public outcry from the uneducated, and the ignorant, to disarm the law-abiding citizen. That means a power-shift in their favor, or so they hope.

On the local news here they said that the parents , child and school officials had a meeting before it happened “ I’ve heard the day before and hours before” and there were kids begging their parents to stay home that day because of the rumors of what might happen. It looks like multiple people probably dropped the ball on this one.

Israel requires their teachers to be armed to protect their students. This was implemented after the first and only school attack in Israel.

There have been a few instances in so called "mass" shootings where there red flags concerning the shooter. I remember one where the FBI was aware what a shooter "may" be going to do. They did noting and the guy did shoot a bunch of people.

It was reported that this kid was off center and that people were aware he had problems that could cause trouble for the people at the school. In the past weren't parents held accountable for their minor children's actions?

A side note on schools and tolerance. My daughter was in High School. A kid in one of her classes was constantly disrupting the class and making threats. One day he flipped out and started throwing chairs and fighting with people and the teacher. My daughter was knocked to the ground. They got the kid out fo the class. The next day the was back in class! The school didn't want to suspend him or cause any trouble.

A purchaser must be 18 to buy a long gun, and 21 to buy a handgun, but ownership/possession is another story. In a lot of cases, it's just a matter of wording making the difference between a legal private transfer and a felony straw purchase. The nuances are so confusing and contradictory, the judge dropped the charge so it wouldn't take up another day of explaining gun law to the jury and distract them from the bigger picture. I think Kyle admitted he gave the money to Dominick to buy the rifle, because he wasn't old enough yet to buy it himself. OK, that would make it illegal, but if Kyle had given Dominick $XXX.xx and said, "You're my best friend, and I want to give you this as a gift", then Dominick bought the rifle and later gave it to Kyle, saying, "You're my best friend, and I want to give you this as a gift", perfectly legal. Surely you don't really think it's a felony straw purchase when Uncle Buck buys a Ruger 10/22 for his minor nephew for his birthday or Christmas? If I were behind the counter, and Uncle Buck came in with Minor Buck and said, "I'm going to buy you this rifle to give to you for your 17th birthday next month", there's nothing wrong with that under federal law. But if Uncle Buck says, "I'm getting you this rifle for your birthday next month, but you have to mow my lawn the rest of the summer", then it's technically a straw purchase, as there is an implied exchange of services in order for Minor Buck to get the rifle.

(edit) I quoted a post about Rittenhouse acquiring his rifle via a straw purchase, and... what happened? Does the quoted passage go away if someone deletes their post?? Did I post in the wrong thread?

The kid posted on social media days before calling it HIS gun. Some in the news media claim he merely pretended it was, but something makes me think the father actually bought it for him. It would explain why the family immediately clammed up and refused to talk to the police.
