Alpo Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 Well the United States Marine Corps part is pretty obvious, but what does smj mean?

Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 Just a wild guess Sergeant Major
Buffalo Creek Law Dog Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 I saw one that was 2TH DR. Obviously a dentist.
Utah Bob #35998 Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 That is not the correct Marine Corps abbreviation for Sergeant Major. Or Army either actually. USMC -SGT MAJ ARMY - SGM But you’re limited to number of characters you can put on a plate.

Chili Ron Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 Howdy, Once I wanted plates for my fun car. They sent one sorta close. Since then I never played the game. Took whatever pile of numbers and letters they sent. Why make it easy for some one to give cops the number of that passiing blurrrrrr. Best CR
Pat Riot Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 Pretty sure the SMJ is Serious Machinegun Junkie But, I could be wrong.
Alpo Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 Whatever I think of personalized license plates I remember an Archie comic strip. They had just made personalized plates legal in Riverdale, and Archie decided he would get one that said SUPERDUDE. Unfortunately you could only have a maximum of eight letters, and his said SUPERDUD. And there was a Carlos Mencia routine about personalized plates in California. He asked about plates referencing the evil N word, spelling it many different ways. Leaving the E out. Changing the ER to AH. Things like that. None of those were allowable. However he could get BEANER, GREASER, or WETBACK. All three of those were acceptable plates.

DeaconKC Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 My old plates were 44SPCL, wish I could have gotten them here. Still trying to decide what else I would like.

Derringer Dan Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 One MP-5 (HK) for me In Kali it was just a dream to own one
Pat Riot Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 I used to have a plate in CA that said “PAT RYUT” when I lived here before. Now they want too much money for personalized plates and they don’t need any more of my money than they take now.
Smuteye John SASS#24774 Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 Best I've seen, (I'm not vain enough for a vanity plate) was a state of Alabama collegiate plate supporting Auburn University that read 'G8R H8R'.
Blackwater 53393 Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 My tag doesn’t leave much to the imagination!

Alpo Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 I don't understand the elephants, but because they are red, and they yell ROLL TIDE, I've always thought of red tide, which is a toxic bacteria which infects shellfish. Since a large percentage of Gulf Coastal people are in the shellfish business - ersters and shrimps - I could never see why anyone would like red tide. Sorry bama.

Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted June 7, 2021 Posted June 7, 2021 My old California plates read GUNSLIK. It was on 13 cars over 39 1/2 years and I never had any issue with it. I moved here and t was taken already.
Ozark Shark Posted June 7, 2021 Posted June 7, 2021 The plates on my truck are CAS FAN. With a SASS plate frame, most shooters get it, but it confuses the rest.
