Since mine are in my garage, if any of those things happen, I have much bigger problems.

Week or so ago I go outside and I feed itSEE THAT mine would have been "in the neighbor's yard", except it got tangled up in the azaleas.

We had a hurricane some years back, and based on the address painted on the can, it blew across the street, climbed a 4-ft chain link fence into my neighbor's backyard, went all the way across their backyard, climbed another four foot chain link fence into my backyard, went all the way across my backyard and was tight up against the chain link fence on the other side of my yard. Traveled almost a hundred yards and climbed two fences.

Humorous, but incorrect.

For two reasons.

First, octopus is Greek not Latin, so the pluralization is to add an ES, not to drop the US and ADD an I. Octopuses.

And second, that's not an octopus. That's Cthulhu.

I corrected that sentence three times before I finally posted this, and he changed it as it was posting

Both reasons are true and correct, but in the next few weeks I'm still going to have to bake a Cherry Octopi(e). Most of my friends are not learned enough to think beyond the pun.
