Saturday is supposed to be a high of -4 with a low of -27, wind chills of -35 to -40. I'm staying inside.

Looking at the weather map, that is a strange bubble of cold air.

Talking to my dad on the phone a couple days prior I told him winter weather finally arrived. It is supposed to be 2 to 20 degrees here over the weekend with a chance of snow. He said, "oh" and then went on to tell me it was a whopping -21 with 16" of snow on the ground where he is while out for his morning walk. I could hear him smiling. That 76 year old man will always be tougher than I am.

So far it's got up to 54 degrees today. We got a little over 2" of rain yesterday so that helped the drought a bit. It might frost tonight, gotta cover up the lettuce.

6 in So West Missouri with an inch or so of snow. My 15 year old inherited Maltese/Yorkie cross went out at 6:15 but she may never forgive me for it.

 

 

7:45 and it's 0 with a -15 wind chill. She may never pee again.
