Shifty Jack, SASS #65353
I just picked up a SKB 100 for a smokin price, I haven't decided if I am going to keep it yet, but if I do it will need to get slicked up for CAS. So who are the go to guys for these guns? I know Johnny Meadows has an awesome reputation for the work he does on SKBs, but is there anyone else who specializes in these? Capt. R. Hugh Kidnme
I'm sure others are good; but I am +1 more, for Johnny Meadows at Camp Verde Gun Repair. I have 2 of his tuned up SKBs. "Smooth" doesn't do it justice. Capt R. Hugh Kidnme

Doc Tombstone, SASS #49630
Goatneck Clem is the other one of the 3 you hear about often. Sure like the way he slicked up my pards SKB.

Shifty Jack, SASS #65353
Alright that gives me a few options to consider. Another question, what are you guys having the barrel lengths cut to on these puppies? And screw in chokes or is that just overkill?
Abe E.S. Corpus SASS #87667
I had my barrels cut to 22 inches. The little bit of extra weight at the end makes the shotgun easier to open and to stay open. The other school of thought favors shorter tubes close to the minimum 18 inches for quick handling. I have 3 blued pistol grip model 200 SKB'S done by Johnny MeadowsAll are mechanical, 23 inch barrel versions They handle great in tight spaces, stay open when I want them to, are smooth to load/unload and lock up like bank vaults Would not hesitate to recommend the SKB or Johnny Meadow's work.
