That's actually kind of impressive in its own way.

Howdy,

I looked several times and never did see a socket.

Finally I DID see a ratchet.

Wow.

Did you start leaking break fluid?

That's for when you just get the urge to bleed the brakes on the side of the road.

I'm still looking for a long, thin LED flaslight I left in a customer's piano.  I just don't remember which customer!

I like how the patina makes it blend right in.

Must be one crappy ratchet. All those pot holes and it never indexed one tooth.

Which is a good thing because if it had indexed CCW it would have destroyed that CV joint.

When I was a kid in the last century, one of my Dad's tubing wrenches went missing.
Being an only child, he beat my ass good for losing it.

Fast forward 40 years, I was changing out a battery in his ancient pickup truck.
There in the cowling was his missing tubing wrench... all those years later.

I pointed out that he beat my ass for something I didn't do.. he said, "You probably deserved it for something else."

Hard to say.
He broke my left arm with a 2x4 so I figured I had some credit in the bank.

It took a lot of years to figure out, he wasn't hitting me.. it was my mother.

If it looks stupid but it works it ain't stupid.

And if you make one with a metric crescent wrench and a second with an english crescent wrench, they can replace two sets of sockets!
