Some time during the winter the challenge was made, if 180 shooters showed up for the Colorado State Match, I'd shave the beard. Well, my mom heard about that and told me how much she was looking forward to seeing my face again. After that, I knew it had to come off no matter what the attendance at the state match was. We 'only' had 165 shooters, a goodly number in my book, so I put out a jar for donations for the SASS scholarship fund to make up for a few less shooters.
