"Autograph my chest"

Do women really do that? Why?

On the Castle TV show they frequently had fans wanting Castle to autograph their chest.

I've just started reading the first Nikki Heat book, and a fan came up and wanted him to autograph her chest.

Now if I wanted an autograph. And I've gone through the trouble of tracking down the celebrity so I can get the autograph. I get Joe Namath to autograph my football. Sugar Ray Robinson to autograph my boxing gloves. Larry Bird to autograph my basketball. Willie Mays to autograph my fielder's mit. Babe Ruth to autograph my bat. Whatever I get autographed, I can keep it. Even if it's just a piece of paper, I can keep the autograph.

So I get somebody to autograph my body? I'm never going to take a bath again?

YES!! THEY DO!!

When I traveled and performed with the band on the NASCAR circuit back when WINSTON was the chief sponsor, we often had women ask for autographs and wanted them in places I hesitate to mention!!  Chests were tame compared to some requests!!!  And I ain’t talking about garments!! We’re talking epidermis!!

The combination of booze, fast cars, hot sun, and good Rock ‘N’ Roll has been known to produce some extremely risqué requests!!

And it’s not just Red Necks!  Fraternity gigs at the colleges produce the same results!!  College girls are often the wildest ones!!

My wife and I just finished watching that series. I think using the 7th grade girls they used as story consultants on the last 2 seasons was a ridiculous move…I’m being facetious…

Anyway, tattoos on body parts, yes. I have seen it as well. The clever girls get 2 autographs; 1 on paper and 1 on where ever.

I will neither confirm nor deny that the well educated, conservative wife of a good friend of mine, has a tattoo of Bono's autograph (U2, not Sonny). She is a life-long fan and got it in her fifties. Oh, wait... I mean if she did get it, which I am not confirming or denying, she would have been in her fifties.

I often think ahead of my reading and when I got to “in her” my runaway mind was thinking about where the tattoo might be.

That brings up the question - HYPOTHETICALLY - did she actually get him to sign her body part and then get the tattoo artist to ink over the signature, or did she just find his signature somewhere and give that to the tattoo artist so he could use that to tattoo the signature?

Having been “exposed” to concert behavior for so many years, I’d lean more toward the former…

I sometimes wonder what crosses some guy’s mind when he reads some other guy’s name tattooed onto some intimate place on his partner’s anatomy for the first time!!  🤪🤣

I have to agree with that assessment. We really like Nathan Fillion, but it kind of seemed like they had just run out of ideas the last couple seasons and were phoning it in.

Oh, and Blackwater, just so you know, you're a new hero of mine.

Oh no!  Look what you done did.  Now that'll go to his head and he's already hard enough to live with.

If she did do it, and I'm not saying she did, it happened as Bono was greeting fans before a concert.

Oh well, there's Flo on my left arm and there's Mary on my right
And Janie is the girl, well, that I’ll be with tonight
And when she asks me, which one I love the best
I tear open my shirt and I show her "Rosie" on my chest

'Cause I'm a wanderer

It's my thread, so I can take it off on a tangent. :P

You ever been to one of those lyrics websites, were they tell you the lyrics of a song, and they explain what the lyrics meant?

I just went to one to make sure I have the right girls' names.

Oh well, there's Flo on my left arm and there's Mary on my right
And Janie is the girl well that I’ll be with tonight
And when she asks me which one I love the best
I tear open my shirt and I show her "Rosie" on my chest

So they are explaining that line.

He tore his shirt open and showed her a tattoo of a compass rose on his chest, because he's a wanderer.

The guy who dated my sister in law back in the 70's was a perfect look alike for Bob Seger.  He and one of his friends decided to take their girls to a concert in style so they rented a limo, which was not common back then. The concert they went to was one week after Seger was there. When they got out of the car some one yells  " Hey Bob Seger is here, that's Bob Seger getting out of that limo". Well every one want's an autograph, he keeps telling them "I aint  Seger go away" finally my SIL tells him go ahead make their day just sign Bob Seger. Next girl comes up, asks, he says OK she pulls up her top says "sign these" so he latches onto one and signs it. My SIL was PISSED, he just told her it was her idea get over it.

I have a friend who was at a Paul McCartney concert about 15 years ago. A woman in the audience made it to the stage and convinced security to let her on stage with a sharpie pen to get Sir Paul to autograph her shoulder blade.

He did so with “Paul McCartney / Let It Be” on two lines of handwriting.

She left the concert, went to a tattoo artist, and it is now permanent.  I think that is a pretty cool tattoo!

Yeah!!  Been there before!!

We did/do a lot of biker bars and biker benefits. In the early years, (25 years or so ago) most of the band worked off of wireless mics and guitar receivers!

One night, at one particularly raunchy but popular venue, I jumped up onto a table during a Rolling Stones number we were covering and did a few gyrations! The gals started stuffing dollar bills in my britches and I just jumped from table to table for the rest of the song!

SCHOOLMARM WAS NOT HAPPY!!

She sat there and fumed for half of the break when we took the next one.

The guys all laughed and they kept telling her it was all part of the show.  She wasn’t convinced until I handed out nearly sixty bucks to be split amongst the band members!!

Nowadays, she just wonders what the HELL I’m liable do next!!

*We’re now pushing thirty years as a band and the average age is 73.  We don’t do the tables much anymore, (unless there’s stairs to get up there 🤣🤪) but we still walk out into the audience if they’re rockin’ along with us!

Off topic…somewhat.

I had a friend years ago that looked like a blond Tom Cruise. He was in a bar and these 2 girls are positive that he was Tom Cruise even though he says he kept denying it. They took him home with them and they were drinking and having fun and the girls stripped him to his socks and underwear. Then one runs over to the stereo, plugs in a CD and on comes Bob Seger’s “Old time Rock n Roll”  and they want him to reenact “his” scene from the movie.
He said he tried. They started the song 3 times then thry threw his but out into a cool rainy night in Los Angeles. He walked 2 miles home in his underwear and socks. He said he darn near froze and he didn’t see one police car all the way home and he had his thumb out but no one would stop and pick him up.

I don’t blame them.

Yes. It does actually get to freezing temps occasionally in LA and it rains often in the winter.
