If he can't find any guns I know where to send him. LOL

Love to see the kids getting involved, good job Lil JB! We have had several young folks at Lincoln County Cowboys and Oklahoma Territorial Marshall’s here lately.

That's just super! I'm envious as I started too late for my 2 boys.

Enjoy the times you share together. They grow up fast.

Best Wishes

He was our little Brass Picker, now he is a fellow shooter.

I guess we all need to give our support and pick up our own brass.

Congrats to Lil JB

The fun has begun. Before you know it he will be beating you in the matches . Enjoy this time because before you know it he will be taking you to the matches to watch him shoot. I use to look forward to dad taking me to the shooting matches and now the roles have reversed.

Enjoy it while you can!  Hopefully, he will stick with it even after he discovers Cars and Girls!

I really enjoyed the 6 or 7 years that Holli and I got to shoot with our kids.  We always had family competition for bragging rights with the goal to win the November match as then we had bragging rights all the way up until March when the season restarted.  That was in the years before we started to travel to matches outside of Maryland.

Sadly those days are long past as they are busy with families of their own.  I had hoped to be able to get our oldest sons kids involved, I even went so far as to get them SASS Aliases and Numbers, but trying to get kids involved these days, at least in our area, is virtually impossible.  Between school politics and the "Gun's Are Bad" rhetoric they are subjected to daily, it's just not going to happen.  I still have a chance with my youngest sons daughter, but she just turned 6 months old so the real question is will I still be shooting when she is 10.  Heck, at that point I will be pushing 80, I may be happy to just be vertical and taking solid food! :P
