Watched the three that were available, now have to wait a week to watch another one. Love the part where he was asked if he unpacked at the hotel and he puts his toothbrush on the bathroom counter and say "I have now". 

 

Also, Family Plan on Apple is another good movie.

Cruise didn't have the look or build, but surprisingly was able to pull off the vibe.

Much prefer the Prime video version over the Theatrical releases.  Alan Ritchson is much closer to the character than Tom Cruise.

I felt the same way. Have read all his books and this series seems to follow it pretty closely.

I totally agree.  How anyone could put a guy Cruise's size into the Reacher role escapes me.

Explaining the casting decision, author Lee Child said that it would be impossible to find a suitable actor to play the giant Reacher and to recreate the feel of the book onscreen, and that Cruise had the talent to make an effective Reacher. Child also said, "Reacher's size in the books is a metaphor for an unstoppable force, which Cruise portrays in his own way." Of Cruise's relatively small stature, Child said, "With another actor you might get 100% of the height but only 90% of Reacher. There aren't a lot of actors in Hollywood that are big enough to be Reacher, can act AND draw people to the movie theaters.  Cruise (who I don't like) can act and can draw people to the movie theaters.

With all due respect to Lee it didn't work for me.

 

5'6" is not 90% of 6' 5" and Jack Reacher is also supposed to be enormously muscular, which Tom Cruise definitely isn't.

 

Worst casting I've seen since Mark Wahlberg was plugged in as Bob Lee Swagger.

Using Cruise was poor casting for the reasons stated, but he did well in the role and the movie was pretty good.
