If I were looking to save shells (money), I would have never started buying guns and shooting... It ain't always that piece of wood but rather the fun and camaraderie it creates. Competing with our 97's between Red Knee and myself has seemingly given me a life long friend, of which I'm proud to know. At 73, I'm tickled that some younger folks are gonna carry the torch at such a high level. Its their turn to set the bar for others to aim for and if I can assist in any way, I surely will. Basically, he will be a gun vendor at the match, although I don't know what he is bringing this year. BUT ... ifn any of you Pards are looking for a new Cimmaron 87, ya might want to get in touch with SLATER to bring you one to the TN State. I was doing a picture search on Google for things to see near Wartrace and that picture popped up. It was from a recent Reddit post about breeding chickens for maximum hexability. Someone called "Dances with Silkies" posted the picture and was bragging about them. They offered to show them to anyone near Murfreesboro. He usually gets one or two from Hardy's. Anyhow, I told him a couple months ago that he needed to get use to eating bacon because when there gets to be a shortage of pigs, there won't be anymore sausage.
