Every time you’re looking at a beautiful view some wiener shows up and screws up the view.

I don't know about that. We ran into it outside of Frys a few years back.

Drop and run? Got that right!!

3500 curies of Cobalt 60, though - I think you're still upghefuct.

I remember some pictures in the radiation safety class. Some team had dropped a source. Visualize something about the size and shape of a Benadryl caplet, attached to a 6-inch long piece of quarter-inch spring. And it was marked RADIOACTIVE.

A workman at the job site found it, picked it up and stuck it in his back pocket. Stayed back there to the end of shift. He gave it to the secretary when he got off work, and she put it in her desk drawer. People from the X-ray company came by the next day looking for their missing source.

The secretary had serious radiation burns on her leg, from her leg being next to the drawer of her desk. The worker that found the source - the holes they showed that were burned into his butt cheek, and them trying to fix it and it not working for several months - that crap stays with you. You tend to be real careful around radiation after that.

And that was I believe a 60 Curie pill of iridium 192. Nowhere near as much penetrating power is Cobalt 60, and a much much weaker pill.
